There is good news Padraig. I was reading Fr. Gobbi's book last night and I was looking up different messages from the condcordance under Jerusalem, Islam, etc. I wanted to post several, but I have to type it all out by hand and it would have taken all night. I did type out one. It was called 'The time of the Cenacle'. It made the hair on my arms stand up it was so TRUE! Here it is, since it has come and gone since last night... The time of the Cenacle— Madrid (Spain); May 22, 1996 #573 “My little son, for a week you find yourself holding wonderful cenacles with the priests and the faithful of my Movement in the principal cities of Spain, particularly stricken and ensnared by my Adversary, but guarded and protected by me in the safe refuge of my Immaculate Heart. I've always had good intuition, or mabye as I get older it's simply listening to that quiet Guest of our soul talk to me. But it seems to be that events that have been foretold are coming together here and a large war will break out and the muslims will be the ones unleashed, and will our fellow faithful wake up and see the large picture here? Is God allowing this to happen to punish us for our sins? Look at the complete lack of morals and how even know in America under Obama we are quickly losing our faith and moral compass. Abortion, gay marriage, sex outside of marriage, it's like right has become wrong, up has become down. Sean Hannity is a staunch conservative. He's also a faithful Catholic. Hi FatimaPilgrim, I certainly think we all need to be praying the Rosary every day, at least once. I am getting a mention into my daily intentions for Syria each day now. My thoughts on the recent Syria activity are, I really don't trust John Kerry at all, it all seems a little too rushed, their is a fierce desire for war and very very large bloodshed. I think as the love for Pope Francs grows satan wants to counter with a lot of bloodshed, his time is running out fast. A war where both sides have emmense power looks to be looming around the corner.... lets pray and hope to reduce the damage.

Marti, One reason I sometimes switch to using personal names is when I'm upset. I remember the whole WMD fiasco that led up to the Iraqi War. I remember Pope John Paul II urging President Bush not to go into Iraq, but I believed the lies and thought if the use of WMD was imminent then our decision had a moral basis. There were no WMD as Alex's clip reminded me and I weep over the many, many lives lost which we as a nation perpetrated! And, yes, I believe we will go into Syria. And I weep over that, also. But I will never believe that my daily prayers for the Middle East and our brothers and sisters there are a waste. Dear Lady, Mother Mary, present all our prayers to Jesus for you lift them up with the purest of intentions. O God, your Will be done. May Your Mercy Triumph! Padraig, I am not sure why you posted that old clip of that "priest" attacking Hannity, but do you know who is that "priest" is? Nevertheless I consider Sean's attitude in the interview to be less than admirable. In a public interview, in front of millions of people Catholic and non Catholic alike that he suggested that all the Clergy were responsible for the sex abuse crisis. This leaving aside his public dissent from Humanae Vitae. He also suggested that this Doctrine was ,'Driving away', Catholics from the Church. This is a big turn off for me. It's the Public part that would concern me. If he'd said this in private well....
Agreed, Sean is a sinner like all of us and I probably identify with him as I hold some of the same faults (quick to argue, do not like to be attacked and go on counter attack, etc.). I didn't hear and haven't heard him blame all clergy for the sex abuse scandals of the past, what he did rightly blame was the church hierarchy for covering, or should I say attempting to cover, it up. However, as a public figure, he is far ahead of the likes of "catholics" such as Biden, Pelosi, Sebelius, etc. But there again I am letting relativism creep in

all of this syria stuff has made me think of Garabandal's dream...the one where sleeper terrorist cells all throughout europe erupt in one day all across europe and kill a bunch of people. I believe there were bombings in israel too. Given the UK and France are major players in western action in syria, terrorists could justify this response. israel is already being threatened, and I think it's a given they will be attacked. I don't mean to speak for Garabandal's dream...but as this thing unravels that is what I thought of...given a part of that dream has already come true (that journalist who got injured in the face)...who knows??
