Sweet! Today is day 2. The first of Advent. Beautiful day. We have set up an Advent wreath on our table and bought some Advent candles. A long way to go with the novena. So far, no problem. This novena is quite easy, the prayer is so beautiful, short and natural. I am also praying for specific intentions other forum members mentioned on this forum.
Oh no, it happened. I have been praying the novena faithfully since 30 November, 15 times per day. But yesterday I slipped, praying it only two times. And that was on the very day where our family finished the First Saturday-devotion with our and final Frist Saturday, and it is quite amazing that my entire family joined this year. On this very day, yesterday, I also lost my temper twice, once with my youngest daughter and then with my son. I feel a bit devastated. Now, today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. God bless all here. All of you, your loved ones, your intentions, continue to be in our family Rosaries.
I missed a day too, not saying it enough one day. I just prayed it 30 times the next day. I'm trying to say it throughout the day now. Just pray it!
Here is a short prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe by Pope Benedict: https://www.vatican.va/content/bene...nts/hf_ben-xvi_20050511_prayer-guadalupe.html Today is her memorial day. If you still have time in addition to the novena to St Andrew, there is also a novena to Our Lady.
I am struggling. Fell off my prayers completely. Had a very stressful work week. Here, at home, indulging in food and sloth seems to be prevalent, me included. I don't know what to do with the Novena. God bless all here!
Stress gets the best of us, especially in the weeks leading to Christmas. Just continue to with the Novena, perhaps saying extra prayers each day. God bless you as well, Michael.
thank you all so much! Today and tomorrow I will be on long car trips for work. I hope to say many prayers in the car. God bless all here - you and your loved ones were in our family Rosary tonight, as usual....
