  4. Our holy young priest at daily Mass today talked about how priests are noticing that there is "something " happening in the Church this year ( The year of Hope). Not a "usual" or ordinary "something".

They are having so many young men applying at our seminary that they are going to have to turn many away. There have been multiple real physical healings locally through prayer. Over a thousand showed up for Confession at our Church alone on Good Friday. We have at least 3 boys considering the priesthood at our parrish...A parrish that has not produced vocations in the past.

Many people came back to the Church after decades away.

Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever!

Thank you dear Lord for the Blessed Mother's and St. Joseph's intercession.

Wow! How wonderful! What parish is this, if you don't mind me asking? Or just the city?

We just left the Benedictines of Mary in Gower, MO, after being there for Vespers, and listening to them praying for our church leaders filled me with such joy and hope. We are not alone. There are faithful religious and priests all over the world, many tucked away in remote corners that we've never even heard of, praying for our Cardinals and the new Pope-to-be. We will all keep pouring out our hearts to God, and He will hear us.

Below is a song I wrote for our beautiful priests who need to know they are loved and appreciated.
    Especially after all the scandals.

Imagine a world without priests...without Confession...without the Eucharist. They give all for Christ.

The picture is of these wonderful new priests...one of which is the one who gave the homily today.

    Not my voice...

Had a chuckle at this. Don't you get it. Eve was blamed by Adam for his sin. Now Eve is getting even. It's all Adam's fault.

They say priests tend to hate hearing confessions. I imagine this must be true. It can't be easy.

  16. I have to agree that more people are attending Mass in our parish area. The Ash Wednesday Mass was more crowded than I have ever seen our church, with people pouring out the doors and standing room only. When I commented about this to our adult children, one child said that he could barely find room to stand at the parish church where he attended Ash Wednesday Mass. 580 people entered the Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil in our area. Our Pastor said that he is seeing new faces and was delighted at how crowded the Masses are recently. Sister Emmanuel posted in her newsletter that 17ooo new Catholics entered the Church in France at the Easter Vigil. Praise be to Christ!!!

This makes me so happy. Especially when I think that God may have used some of our prayers and offerings of suffering to help achieve this. To be a part of something so wonderful, to be of service to God, quenching His thirst for souls and comforting His heart with conversions....It makes it a joy to suffer.
