I will add my prayers and ask God to lift you up. (On eagles’ wings)

This is hard. My specialty was majority geriatric and patients often became close friends, bringing presents for my family at Christmas, baked goods at holidays, etc.

As they got to the point they could no longer make it into the office, I always did house calls for them. And many others. And I spent two mornings a week seeing patients in nursing homes and personal care homes. To this day, I always include the repose of the souls of all my patients who have died in my daily offering.

Be at peace. God will give you the strength to persevere. Prayers.

Thank you for your personal involvement in the lives of those needing care, Brian. You went the extra mile. (y)

Well maryrose, as the saying goes, you hit the nail on the head! It has now been three weeks since I have served as chaplain. It certainly weighs heavily on my heart; it is the consequence of my refusal to take the vaccine. But at least I get to preach at all the Holy Masses this coming weekend! (And I just finished writing it up, though I rarely look at my notes while preaching). For me, preaching carries with it a certain joy in calling my brothers and sisters onward and upward!

Pray that the Supreme Court may yet make a ruling in my favor. At least then I can serve twice a week at the hospital! Help me out with this, Therese!

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for this poor son who has recourse to thee!
