Something big is about to happen

I agree, as a historian it seems that massive change and upheaval comes in waves, followed by periods where nothing much happens. The Napoleonic era, WWI, WWII, etc. I think we have entered one of those periods in the past few years. Massive social change, economic upheaval and military disputes all rearing their heads at once.

If we think back to 20 or 30 years ago any one of the issues the world is dealing with now would have been front page news for a long time. Now there is so much going on they are just a flash in the pan. Events are definitely accelerating. Even 5 years ago it didn't look like Russia would attack NATO or that the EU would have many members in danger of economic collapse, but now it seems possible, even probable. These are just the 2 conditions Birch says will be the "kickoff" to the chastisement.

 

I wouldn't necessarily agree that the actions of the Holy Father are "demonic mocking." Perhaps he is aware of the coming chaos in a general way, and wants to give local bishops a streamlined way to keep doing very necessary pastoral work when communications are down or spotty. Perhaps during the Year of Mercy more people will receive the grace to return to the church and want to regularize their situation. Going through the annulment process may help that for many individuals and families. I would wait and see how it shakes out.

Harper, I believe you are spot on. I'm doing the math here adding up the year of Mercy, the streamlining of access to Reconciliation for those who have performed or excommunicated themselves procuring abortions and now streamlining annulments for all those who have left the safety of the boat. These add up in my minds eye, and more importantly what my heart feels to be true, that our Pope is planning for droves of fallen away souls wanting to come back to the safety of our church.

I wonder what event(s) Pope Francis feels is coming that will causes scores to want to come back into communion with the church?

 

I have a really strong sense that the closing of the jubilee year of mercy WILL close the time of mercy, and usher in the time of judgement. I feel confident that the Holy Spirit is leading our Holy Father to do his own version of "prepping", just like the rest of us.

Papa said next Holy week he would send forth Missionaries of Mercy, but would be active before the Holy week Declaration in 2016??? whats that really mean? I am a huge devotee to the Divine Mercy....Jesus is Merciful and has created a Year of Mercy through Pope Francis.....he wants us to be forgiven and call on His Mercy....this falls right in line with Divine Mercy....Jesus I TRUST in you.....too many friends have been held up with bureaucracy over their annulment process...it is very painful and long and drawn out.....let's get these Catholics back safely in the Barque of Peter before the storm hits full fury....Jesus I TRUST in you...God Bless Our beautiful Pope Francis, who you gave us in these specific times.....Reform the bureaucracy....

 

Great post Kathy K. I think the same thing. In the past two weeks I have changed my mind from a wait and see attitude to a prepping attitude. I had a vacation planned for 2016 and I have already scrapped it, as I believe the signs are to numerous and obvious with the year of mercy, supposed "gay marriage" being legalized, the flood of Muslims into Europe, and the upcoming Synod. Not to mention the horrible deal the U.S. made with Iran. I now think the evidence leans in favor of something happening sooner rather than later.

I believe that CERN is partially situated in France according to this article. When I read this something came to my mind. It was something that was stated in a speech by the French Foreign Minister back in May of last year about having 500 days to avoid climate chaos. An article that I read went on to state that he is talking about a conference set for November or December of this year. What is notable is that when he stated this, September 23rd is exactly 500 days. Hmmm?? Sorry I don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist, just found it interesting.

This is strange one but if you go to Google Maps and type in September 23rd 2015 it opens up with a map of Cern for some reason.

 

Eamonn, had you searched CERN earlier today? That's probably why, as I just typed in September 23rd 2015 and it opened up to the last location I had searched here in the US as that's not an address

Aemonn is correct. It will take you to cern. If you plug in September 11, 2001 it will take you to the twin towers. I tested this about a week ago.
