    djmoforegon,

Thanks for the above clips on Our Lady of Akita. I've drawn closer to her in the last few years.(y)

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, TRULY present in the Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and soul to be entirely one with Your Heart, being sacrificed at every instant on the altars of the world and giving praise to the Father, pleading for the coming of His Kingdom.

Please receive this humble offering of myself. Use me as You will for the glory of the Father and the salvation of souls.

Most Holy Mother of God, never let me be separated from Your Divine Son. Please defend and protect me as your special child. Amen!

I have prayed this every day for years. It is a beautiful prayer written for Sister Agnes's order by Bishop Ito.

You’re right, my mistake AED. This beautiful prayer was given to the sisters by Bishop Ito, a great friend of the community.

Today Fr. Pillari reads the entire third and last message given to Sr. Agnes. He stresses how grave the chastisement will be if we do not turn away from our present course. Our Lady’s message was given on October 13th, the anniversary of the miracle at Fátima. The teaching starts @ the 31 minute mark.

Father is still speaking in the garden but very close to the miraculous statue inside the convent. Pilgrims are allowed to pray in the same chapel that Sr. Agnes did, just no pictures or videos allowed. I’m really hoping there will be a new fervor for this gift.

Thanks djm, it's always good to see the messages and events of Akita being promoted. It's seems like there's been a concerted effort over the years to keep them as little known as possible. The times spoken of by the Blessed Mother at Akita may well be approaching.

Our Lady of Akita, pray for us.

Its curious isn't it. The message of Fatima was in many ways repressed. And Akita which is Fatima revisited is also obscured.

Sometimes I get discouraged at seeing all the fierce non believers who are continuously blaspheming God. But then i think of all the young people quietly converting to the Church. Prayer is working. We gotta keep those Rosaries going.

That's true...the messages and events of Garabandal have also been neglected.
I feel that the events spoken of there may also be coming about in the near future.
Fatima - Garabandal - Akita, the messages and exhortations of Our Lady are connected.

Blessed Mother, cover us with the mantle of your maternal love and care.

"I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved."

Our Lady to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa in the third message given in Akita on October 13th, 1973.

It's interesting that Blessed Alexandrina da Costa of Balasar, Portugal, sometimes called the Fourth Seer of Fatima, died on October 13th 1955.
    Another connection to Fatima.

Yes, definitely. Not to make light of Our Mother's kindness and gentility, I'm hearing a bit more of "wait until your Father gets home" now.;)

The immediate time is one of repentance, and preparation.
My father was a traveling salesman, who would return home on Fridays. Therefore, getting the home in tip-top shape before his arrival was important.

Time to act as if it's Friday on the calendar of eschatology!(y)

All of this is 'preaching to th chior', the FEW who 'follow' the reminders that (ultimately) God sends us through His prophets, messages that you and I, part of the 'Faithful Remnant' read often. How can we persuade our 'loved ones' , without seeming crazy, to relate to the messages when so few [even] of our priests impress on us the ABSOLUTE NECESSITY of saving our souls?
"Hell" is a four-letter word as is "Mary"
Even more-so, our 'on-paper-only-Catholics' and God-loving protestant brothers need to hear the messages our Loving Mother sends us when bombarded with Zero-CO2 and save the blue-nosed frog propaganda!
Let us pray for our loved ones and out brothers and sisters in Christ!
God converted Saul - He can do that for all.... if we ask!

    From Totus Tuus page:

"In a quiet but significant milestone for the world’s oldest continuous monarchy, Princess Nobuko (widow of Prince Tomohito of Mikasa) has become the first baptized Catholic to head her own independent branch within Japan’s Imperial Family.

On September 30, 2025, Japan’s Imperial House Economy Council approved the establishment of a new imperial house under Princess Nobuko, granting her formal standing, an independent residence, and budget — the first such creation since 1990.

Born in 1955 into the prominent Catholic Asō family (sister of former Prime Minister Tarō Asō), she was baptized as a child and raised in the faith.

This marks a historic moment in a nation where Catholics make up less than 1% of the population, yet the faith has deep roots dating back to St. Francis Xavier’s missionary work in the 16th century and the heroic “Hidden Christians” who preserved it through centuries of persecution.

Princess Nobuko’s quiet witness brings a Catholic presence to the heart of Japanese tradition, reminding us of the universal call of Christ that reaches every culture and corner of the world.

What a beautiful sign of hope! Do you see this as an opportunity for greater dialogue between faith and Japanese culture? Share your thought below."

29 August | The Martyrdom of St John the Baptist

"Celebrating the martyrdom of St John the Baptist reminds us too, Christians of this time, that with love for Christ, for his words and for the Truth, we cannot stoop to compromises. The Truth is Truth; there are no compromises. Christian life demands, so to speak, the “martyrdom” of daily fidelity to the Gospel, the courage, that is, to let Christ grow within us and let him be the One who guides our thought and our actions."

Pope Benedict XVI, 29 August 2012.

The above quote from Pope Benedict brought to mind the Third Message of Our Lady to Sister Agnes on October 13th 1973:

"My dear daughter, listen well to what I have to say to you. You will inform your superior... As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the flood, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests. The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres...churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them. With courage, speak to your superior. He will know how to encourage each one of you to pray and to accomplish works of reparation... It is Bishop Ito, who directs your community. You have still something to ask? Today is the last time that I will speak to you in living voice. From now on you will obey the one sent to you and your superior. Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved."
