Yes, I do believe that before the disolution of the monasteries in England by Henry VIII, the monastery was at the centre of the community, not something out on its own. The monastery looked after the sick and the poor of the community. When they were closed there were historical accounts of homeless going to Churches seeking attention. I know that religious like the Sisters of Charity in Ireland and elsewhere did great work setting up hospitals and homes. Their standards of care and hygiene and indeed hospital management were superior to our modern hospitals.
100% and it was all donation based. It was a meaningful vocation too. People didn't lose their farms to get medical care. A beatiful exchange between those in need and those who need to give. I hope that one day this comes back. I think it would be good for the soul of humanity in general. Fresh air for our stagnant souls. It used to be that the convents and monasteries were the center of towns and cities as you said. Today it is high rises owned by banks.

Sometimes there are Masses available in odd places we might not expect. For instance in Hospitals and old peoples homes were retired priests live. Back in Ireland I had the choice of numerous Churches for Mass at many times during the day. Also many, many chances for confession. I took it all for granted. But at least I can still get with an effort. I can;t imagine a world without daily mass.

I honestly don't care that Maduro has been removed, things can only get better for the Venezuelan people from here. They were putting terrorists in the US called "tren de agua" that were selling drugs like fentanyl and occupying buildings. Maduro also treated his people like garbage, everyone was starving. Good Riddance. It can only get better as a US vassal. The people of Iran are also protesting across the nation, while likely not entirely organic, the people there hate Islam and hate the ayatollah. I have seen videos of Iranians celebrating as Israeli missiles attacked government facilities. Hopefully the islamic government gets the boot and women can have freedom again. This doesn't mean I am dismissing the influence of bad Jews. Or that they have control of a lot of stuff. But at the same time if I see good I support it and if I see bad I call it out. Guys like Milie and Bukele have been doing a lot of good in their countries. Poverty is way down since they took out their bureaucracies. The trajectory of their economies are getting a lot better.
It's true that things aren't always black and white. I deplore Milei's 'conversion' to Judaism, for example, but if it brings greater prosperity to the people of Argentina, this latter phenomenon is not itself anything but a good thing.
It's truly a gift. The primary problem with Latin America has always been corruption. Get rid of the corruption and everything will thrive. So when I see two Latin american nations getting a lot better it makes me happy. I hope they all follow suit, especially Mexico. Mexico has more natural wealth than the Netherlands, has had access to modern technology for over 500 years, and still hasn't come out of poverty. The current president is a female Jew, Sheinbaum, and she hasn't helped the people at all. She seems to be protecting the cartels which came into power back in the 80's. So it looks like a good Jew bad Jew sort of thing. Some support the socialism/communism policies and others hate them entirely.

The entire Middle East is a ruined country always in conflict, and once upon a time there were stable dictatorial countries with good standards (Libya, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon). Currently, there is no politician in the US who has good intentions who would not be executed if they somehow reject AIPAC, survive a media lynching and come to power, let alone anyone from the surrounding countries that are rich in oil, minerals and other important minerals. This does not exclude the fact that Maduro and other Bolshevik socialists who starve their own people, kill and terrorize are bad. In fact, that was the goal of communism when Marx created it and that is why it is their project.
