50 SE of St Louis in Illinois people told to evacuate from possible dam collapse as storms and heavy rains move in. Last night in Indiana 100000 without power from strong storms. 500 still in the dark.

It is a curious preternatural fact that at the extreme end of evil people actually rejoice in being evil. They start to do evil things just for the joy of doing them.

It seems some very famous rich people have started wearing upside down Crosses. A pure sign of evil.

He is a weak little actor in my estimation. Hitting someone when they are down is pretty low.
I struggle to understand the vitriol. Has anyone heard Tom McDonald's rap video "You Missed"
Very raw and very powerful. He wrote it and recorded it and it was streaming the next day. A tour de force effort. I know nothing about rap except that I don't like it but apparently in the industry he is considered top drawer. This video is causing seismic waves through the internet. He hits on everything despicable about the woke left. He said " enough is enough" and he is calling them out.

So there were rumors about further restrictions of the TLM happening on July 16, but they did not materialize. It's starting to look like we should ignore rumors, pray and trust.

Rumours are everywhere and dangerous to listen to. I had heard the head of FSSP went to Rome and asked Pope Francis if he would be restricting them and he said, no.

There have been some problems with TLM. Not the Mass itself, but some groups of people attending. So some restrictions on certain independent groups may be necessary.

A sign of the times. After the hurricane in Texas, a lineman was outside his hotel having a cigarette break. He came up missing and they found him beaten with a broken jaw and concussion. People are angry they have no power yet and want to ‘blame’ someone. Such a sad time we live in. The me generation.

And how much sense does it make to beat up the lineman?? The guy who's trying to fix things?

The accounts I am reading say that Trump appears to have really been impacted by what happened. He believes God intervened and by all accounts it was miraculous. So I’m praying that he does hear the words of God and is spiritually transformed. We should know more tomorrow as we listen to him speak.

I do not know what you mean with "problems with some groups of people attending the TLM". Can you be more specific? What is your allegation?

Your generic statement sounds like the secret service under Biden, who wanted to put all traditional Catholics in the terrorist basket. A generic statement is not much more than a vile attack. One of such attacks, apparently led by laypeople, just led to the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer getting kicked out of New Zealand. They have two properties on the South Island and now they have to leave. Kicked to curb. Vocations shattered. Including a young friend who gave up a career as an inspiring musician to join the Sons.

I would suggest to be really careful with generic allegations. You know you have the world, and probably the Bishops and the Vatican on your side, but this can cause a lot of damage to real people, who are trying to live a Christian life, dedicating their entire life to God, raising large families, etc.

What do you mean by "independent groups"? Do you mean SSPX? They have a certain level of independence but are Catholic. Their leadership is in frequent communication with the Vatican. They are in communion with the Catholic Church, even though they resist the modernist tendencies (recognise and resist).

Truly independent groups are not Catholic. Even though some of them call themselves Catholic, but they are not. That's what independent means. Not in communion with the Catholic church. Church restrictions on independent groups are therefore not necessary and not even possible, unless you mean worldly Police restrictions which I hope you don't.

My point is, generic allegations are dangerous and unhelpful. They can bring real harm to Catholic communities, because you have the world and many Bishops on your side.

The Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer, for example, they have an extreme charism. They live practically in the wilderness and subject themselves to the harshest penances. Like the desert fathers. Like monks in ancient times. Look at the living conditions on Papa Stronsay and Kakahu, New Zealand. Harsh, cold, lonely, off the grid. But if you don't like it, don't go there. No need to attend their Oratory. Plenty of parishes in Christchurch. But why go to the media to complain? Because they stick out like a sore thumb. They are a living sign of contradiction. They make us look weak and soft and wordly. That's why they have enemies. People won't look inside themselves, and work on their weaknesses, but instead they turn to vile attacks.

I also heard by way of rumour that the Sons took a strong stance against the Covid-vaccines, and informed their parishioners accordingly. They turned out to be correct, in hindsight. But some people did not like it. Now they are under attack.

    God bless!

He is a very different Donald Trump no question. Somber and thoughtful. You can see it in his eyes. His expression. All the persecution he has gone through and then the attempted assassination. Any man with a shred of intelligence would be pondering God's Will at this point. And we know Trump is very intelligent. He has so clearly miraculously been saved. I agree his speech will be very interesting.

I agree. I see him sad. And he looks older. Hopefully, it’s humility.
