Well, the update is: the crew of the ship called in Mayday, which fortunately kept cars off the bridge before the hit. The State Police closed the bridge to traffic. There was a crew working on the bridge patching potholes. They were taking a break in their cars. Six of them are lost. One man was taken to Shock Trauma and one man was unhurt. No one on the ship was hurt as of now. Thanks for praying.
There is a great deal of social media drama and controversy surrounding the tragic collapse of the bridge. However there is one thought shared by all Americans; the ominous symbolism that the Francis Scott Key Bridge was named after the man who wrote our great national anthem. We all know that our country is in grave danger. So heartbreaking for the families who lost loved ones. It's been a hard Lent.
