So many Signs on the Radio this morning. Wildfires in Greece, large scale flooding in Spain, the Burning Man festival in Nevada brie's in mud, economic catastrophy in Chine. The thing is many of these events are historic, we have very rarely or never seen anything like them. I think everyone believer or non believer knows in their heart of hearts that something huge is in play.
This is how it is. The signs of the times we are in are obvious. Man-made by the many sins not by Co2 emissions. Creation is rebelling against godless humanity. Flooding in Europe - Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Germany- and other parts of the world. I know not only unbelievers, but also deeply faithful Catholics who prefer to turn a blind eye.
Pope Saint John Paul said we had lost our sense of sin. I think that is why many cannot Read the Signs of the Times. If people could only be aware of sin as a reality their eyes would be opened.
Yes. Truth. Imagine the trauma when and if the warning comes. I am very aware that it will be excruciating to go through--and I go to frequent confession/adoration. I hope I have the grace to endure it.
And there are many (even on this forum) who tell us that we live in the "FREE" West. Free speech is dead! Its now a case of - keep your head down and hope they pick on your neighbour instead of you. But I'll tell you this, if you're going to be Catholic, then one day they'll come to your door too!
But I can also understand that young Catholics who are healthy and have a relatively good life just wanted to live it "normally", without such a disturbing apocalypse Edit: what i mean is that praying and trying to live a godly life is all we can do. This is true even if you prefer to ignore the signs of the times.
