It looks more like a mexican "alebrije" to me. https://uknowledge.uky.edu/world_mexico_alebrijes_1/ The beast as described in Revelation has several heads and horns, and no wings. Plus, we know it is not a real animal, but a symbol for something else. Now this statue is clearly based on a tiger, and 2022 will be the year of the tiger in China, might this be related I don't know...

Yes. I would have envisioned a beautiful and powerful angel for such a statue--the angel of peace. This creature certainly doesn't look peaceful.

Wonderful post! I feel the same. I’m coming near to the end of the 54 day rosary novena for our country and I feel something very good, some blessings coming from the Lord! On the other hand, I have noticed with dismay this year how absolutely secular Christmas has become in the mainstream. People: it’s Christ-Mass. get it?
