Well, as far as we know, her identifying as Catholic is still new. We need to wait and pray that she becomes like the seed that fell on good soil and produced "a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown." (Matt 13:23) and not like the seed that fell among thorns. I find this parable interesting, as it's covered in both Matt 13:18-23, as well as Mark 4:3-8, but with widely differing outcomes. Mark is the version most inspirational speakers take, which is to expand the yield -- from thirty, to sixty, to one-hundredfold. IOW, give it your all, because you might have the hundred-fold yields! I think Matthew is more telling and more important. The author has Jesus reducing the yields: from one hundred, to sixty, to thirty-fold. The point is not to be concerned about the size of the yield, which depends on the Holy Spirit's operation on the listeners; but to point out that the seed produced more than the single seed that sown, and we should rejoice that we are able to help the Holy Spirit produce such yields through our actions.

Agreed, outward appearances are many times the last thing to change in people who have been given new life and she is on the Fathers time when it comes to these things. She has the potential to affect a great many people.

Today is the Memorial of St Maximilian Maria Kolbe- the great saint of Auschwitz. A Saint for our times. In fact I think his example - his life speaks so much to what is going on today. He was a man both of spiritual strength but who also acted. His movement is still alive - maybe needed more than ever. He said that if we are not struggling then we are dead! So for everyone who is struggling- whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual think of this great saint today. Ask for his help. Read his life story. It’s so so inspiring- courage - gained through his devotion to His Lady. there are so many quotes from him, but today this one jumped out “Modern times are dominated by Satan and will be more so in the future. The conflict with hell cannot be engaged by men, even the most clever. The Immaculata alone has from God the promise of victory over Satan. However, assumed into Heaven, the Mother of God now requires our cooperation. She seeks souls who will consecrate themselves entirely to her, who will become in her hands effective instruments for the defeat of Satan and the spreading of God's kingdom upon earth."
St. Kolbe also has a strong connection to Japan, having planted the first Militia of the Immaculate outside of Poland. Six years after arriving in Japan, he left a thriving Japanese Catholic community. I think it is of note that, although not miraculous, St. Kolbe listened to the promptings of the Holy Spirit in choosing where to put the new Friary. Rather than choosing someplace close to the Cathedral, he chose a more remote place, in a valley. As such, it was out of the direct line of fire and suffered minimal damage when the bomb was dropped. This enabled the friars and seminarians, who themselves suffered injuries, to quickly mount operations to care for the survivors.

That has been an actively recruited job for decades according to a military friend. FEMA and other disaster organizations use them heavily. My BIL is a correctional officer as well and tells me staffing for corrections has been understaffed for years now at least in our state and they are always in need of officers and hiring. I'm not saying it has nothing to do with current events but I do think there are people out there who are using things like this to intentionally stir people up.
