I have to tell you that our winter was so mild, I didn’t use it once. But I am not bragging. I like winter. But your winters seem over the top to us.

I'm beginning to watch the individual states that are undergoing regional events these days!! I'm surprised that this particular governor didn't order those in the midst of this to stay at home and go down with it due to perhaps spending the COVID!

State of emergency declared, 10,000 ordered to evacuate in Michigan after dams burst

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued an emergency declaration after the Edenville Dam and Sanford dams failed in Midland County, forcing thousands of residents to immediately evacuate their homes on Tuesday.

Downtown Midland could be under 9 feet of water by Wednesday morning, Gov. Whitmer said during a press conference on Tuesday night following the two collapses. A flash flood emergency is in effect for the areas downstream, which includes Midland City and Freeland, Michigan.

The Edenville Dam is located about 30 miles inland from the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron. Over 80,000 people live in Midland County.

Midland County emergency management told people in Midland City, Michigan, who are located west of Eastman and south of US 10, to evacuate immediately on Tuesday afternoon, according to NBC25.

A slow-moving storm doused Michigan with heavy rains over the period of several days, triggering fear of imminent dam failure and flood warnings across the state.

At least two rivers in mid-Michigan, the Tittabawassee River in Midland and the Rifle River near Sterling, reached their major flood stage on Tuesday afternoon, sending dams past their limits.

Areas around Midland reported 3-4 inches of rain since Sunday, which produced a "tremendous" amount of runoff and is causing significant rises on the river system, the National Weather Service said.

The Tittabawassee Fire and Rescue rescued the driver of a pickup truck after the vehicle was swept away while trying to drive on a flooded roadway on Tuesday, according to WNEM.

“A very slowly moving storm system and cold front pushing through the Midwest has produced anywhere from 100 to 200 mm (3 to 8 inches) of rainfall in just the past week from the western Great Lakes through northern Indiana and into southern Missouri,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Jack Boston said.

Edenville Township residents along Sanford and Wixom lakes northwest of Midland were urged to evacuate their homes prior to the Edenville Dam burst. They were advised to make arrangements to stay elsewhere through Wednesday. Shelters have been set up at schools in the area.

Officials in Arenac County and Gladwin County, Michigan, also urged residents to evacuate ahead of the failure due to the possible dam breach from flash flooding along the Tittabawassee and Cedar rivers.

As floodwaters continued rising, threatening to cut off road access, emergency personnel warned citizens about the potential dangers of flooding and to find alternative routes if met with road closures. If drivers are caught going around a barricade, it can result in a traffic violation with a substantial fine, according to road commission officials.

Officials with Bay County Road Commission said the county is experiencing water over roads in some areas and water issues with draining. The commission is in the process of working on a map of roads closed and water over the road, according to the commission’s Facebook post.

With all the rain we are getting, the river is rising and roads may be underwater. If you see water over the road, please do not attempt to drive thru it. Find an alternate route. Also, We are also aware there are water issues with draining. We just received a very large amount of rain and it has no where to go. Please be patient over the next couple days,” the post reads, MLive reports.

and yesterday over 700 acres of fire in southern NJ. ..... strong winds too. While these things does seem more like they are ratcheting up and also with the background of a "pandemic" occurring at the same time.

    More desecration of Her France:

Vandals Profane French Church, Steal Consecrated Hosts

Unidentified vandals broke into the Church of Saint-Jean-des-Cordeliers in southwest France Tuesday and jimmied open the tabernacle to steal the consecrated hosts.

According to the attentive folks at L’Observatoire de la Christianophobie, the vandals broke into the church, located in the town of Bergerac in the Dordogne region, sometime in the afternoon, and stole both the hosts and the ciboria (covered metal vessels) that held them.

The theft of consecrated hosts often occurs in conjunction with Satanism, since the Satanic rite called a Black Mass is performed using the consecrated bread, which Catholics believe to be the body of Jesus Christ.

Revealed: Profanation of church in southwest France (Courtesy L’Observatoire de la Christianophobie)

As Irish priest Father David Jones noted in late 2018, the growth of Satanic cults has seen a corresponding rise in demand for consecrated hosts.

We know that “consecrated hosts go missing from churches every month to be sold on the black market and desecrated in satanic rituals,” Father Jones said.

“It’s very easy to get sacred hosts in Ireland. We know from CCTV that people go to churches when no-one is there and many priests and sacristans are careless about leaving the key to the tabernacle around or in a places that is easily guessed,” he said.

Last year, Catholics in the United States raised an alarm when the e-commerce company posted an ad for “Real Catholic Hosts, consecrated by a priest.”

Sold by a business called “Pentagora,” the ad stated that the purpose of the nine hosts was “to abuse for classic black fairs or black magic purposes.”

Profanations of churches and other Christian sites has been steadily rising in Europe, and particularly in France, and theories for the increase extend from the growth of secularism and paganism in the country to the mass immigration of Muslims.

In March, vandals broke into the Church of Saint Pierre-Saint Paul in the town of Trémorel, northwest France, and profaned the hosts but did not steal them.

“The tabernacle was forced and the consecrated hosts contained in the ciborium were thrown to the ground and dispersed,” said the local bishop of Saint-Brieuc, Denis Moutel. “This act seriously hurts the faithful since it touches the Eucharist, the most sacred reality of our faith.”

Last year, Christian sites in Europe suffered a record number of attacks, with some 3,000 Christian churches, schools, cemeteries, and monuments vandalized, looted, or defaced, making 2019 a record year for anti-Christian sacrilege.

Reports compiling the anti-Christian acts during the year chronicle a gamut of profanation including arson, defecation, desecration, looting, mockery, Satanism, theft, urination, and vandalism.

The greatest number of acts of violence against Christian sites have occurred in France, where churches, schools, cemeteries, and monuments “are being vandalized, desecrated, and burned at an average rate of three per day,” according to reports citing government statistics.

Police and mainstream media almost always censor information about the identities and ethnic backgrounds of the perpetrators, however, so it is difficult to get a clear idea as to who is committing the crimes and the motives behind them — especially when they are religiously driven.

According to Bishop Dominique Rey of Fréjus-Toulon, we are “witnessing the convergence of laicism – conceived as secularism, which relegates the faithful only to the private sphere and where every religious denomination is banal or stigmatized – with the overwhelming emergence of Islam, which attacks the infidels and those who reject the Koran.

“On one hand, we are mocked by the media that discredit the action of the Church, in particular regarding sexual abuse, and on the other, there is the strengthening of Islamic fundamentalism. These are two joint realities,” he said.

Maybe this corona virus was designed to change the narrative and get people's minds off global warming, rising CO2 (only in our masks now), we're all going to die and get us on to the next crisis: stay away from everyone everywhere because we're all going to die.
