Yesterday, my daughter texted me from school that her teacher had commented in class on how masculine her TA looked today. Her TA is of course a young lady who is pretending to be a young man.

Indeed, and it's a sad tale. Father who has long abandoned his family, mother a jobless drug addict and two daughters who are essentially raising themselves, both of which have probably never even heard the truth to reject it. My daughter is charitable with them both knowing their situation but when the school and the teachers encourage and celebrate their "choices" it is very hard to gain ground.
I keep hoping that God in his Mercy will grant all these young people the Grace to see why they feel so hopeless and in turn have no joy. Maybe they will see clearly how miserable their own parents are and begin to seek out the Truth. Not to blame their parents or society but to see how what they are now doing is simply continuing to live under the lies their own parents fell into.
The day before that a young man approached my daughter at lunch out of the blue, and shoved a video of abortionists playing with the dead bodies of children in front of her and laughed when she became angry no doubt knowing her beliefs.
I am proud of her and thankful. That she is known and unafraid to defend her beliefs in a public place where she is vastly outnumbered tells me that the fruits of the Holy Spirit are well with her.

It’s really sad that evil is so out in the open and vindictive. I agree with all that you have said.

Yes, on one hand it is sad of course because when we objectively look at the times we are in it simply means that the church is in eclipse, on the other hand look at those who have grace and courage who still seek to defend the truth and hope to snatch others away in spite of the darkness all around them. Maybe also through invincible ignorance some souls will be saved who otherwise would not. I think that it is out in the open finally not because of its power (only granted it due to the eclipse of the church) but because it's time is beginning to draw short. It knows it and is pushing in desperation to take as many souls with it as possible. It beats it's chest and roars like a lion but soon one is coming that will not lose one of those souls who God gave Him, who will destroy it with the breath of His mouth and bring it to nothing. As lightning flashes from the east to the west so it will be with the coming of the Lord.

    Alleluia!

I agree Don. There is a frantic quality to all these diabolic assaults. And the darker it grows the brighter each tiny flickering light of faith shines.

  10. MUST SEE: Democracy Protesters Adopt Christian Song ‘Sing Hallelujah to the Lord’ as Battle Cry Against Communist Regime

Over the past week huge numbers of protestors have gathered in Hong Kong to take a stand against another change in Hong Kong law moving the tiny country further under Mainland China’s grip.

The BBC reported yesterday on the crowds –

Now it’s being reported that the protesters have adopted a Christian song as their anthem –

The song was sung around Hong Kong –

More on the Christian song –

The protesters requested peace rather than violence

Wow – How proud the people of Hong Kong are tonight of their ‘protesters’!

It's horrendous. I cannot imagine being a teacher and having a lovely group of 11 year old boys and girls and asking the girls to do what's described in front of the boys. I think if an 11 year old daughter of mine was made do that, never mind in front of a mixed group, I'd be looking for a nose to punch (something I've never done!). They just can't wait to destroy innocence and destroy it younger and younger.

Of course children that age should, in my opinion, know the basics of how babies are made. Children growing up on farms know younger than that. If parents prefer to be the ones to tell them then it should be left to them to decide when and the state should butt out with all this additional indoctrination going way beyond teaching the basics of how reproduction works. I hope those parents succeed in putting a stop to this evil.

What a mean spirited bunch. Nobody does hatred quite like the people I see accusing Christians of hate speech.

If many of us feel we are fighting a lonely battle, imagine how much harder for a teen these days. I salute your daughter, and you too, you've obviously done a fine job.

  18. Man Runs Into Riverside Church And Allegedly Says He’s Going To Shoot Everybody

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA) — Mass was interrupted Sunday at a church in Riverside when a man came rushing in saying he was going to shoot everyone.

A woman has just raced in saying “We’re all going to die” in Spanish causing even more panic.

Predictably, people got scared, authorities said.

Officials said the woman ran into the Queen of the Angels church — believing the man was armed. Moments later, witness Michelle Cardona said everyone in the back of the church began sitting and ducking down.

At this point a man ran in saying “Everyone down, there’s someone in the back with a gun. He’s going to kill all of us.”

As a precaution, police were dispatched to churches and houses of worship in the immediate area.

CBS2/KCAL9’s Jake Reiner says the suspect was detained near an outdoor swap meet located in the 300 block of Van Buren.

No weapon was found on the suspect or his vehicle.

The suspect was identified as a Riverside man. No motive was given for the threat.

Authorities are mulling several charges including making criminal threats.

Despite the fear of some congregants, evening mass went on as planned, around 7 p.m.

All was peaceful and calm, but Reiner says Cardona told him she isn’t sure she would be coming back next Sunday.

Cardona and her family attend the services here ever week.

She said while the man was yelling about everyone being killed, she really couldn’t make out what he was saying, because he was behind glass doors. But the woman who first cried out told Cardona the man was praying by a fountain of holy water and said, ‘God forgive me for what I’m about to do’ and he threw a cross on the ground.

Cardona called 911 and also ducked down with her little brother and sister. She began recording the strange incident.

In the meantime, a priest tried to keep everyone calm continuing with the mass by singing and praying.

“I thought that was really beautiful,” says Cardona, “that he was still remaining calm.”

The fact the suspect has been taken into custody also gives her some sense of relief.

“At church today, someone said we’re not going to die, we’re going to be safe. We’re in God’s arms. No one got hurt, we were all safe so I feel like with that we can still keep going to church.”

Fasten your seatbelts folks it's getting bumpier. I'm gaining a whole new respect for teens this evening. Marvellous stand taken by this young Scottish teen
