Almost exactly 500 years ago there was an apostate priest-monk who challenged the authority of the pope and the holy teachings of the Catholic Church and several cardinals defended the pope and the Church against him. 500 years later there is a/an ________ (you can fill in the blank as you wish) pope (!) who is contradicting the holy teachings of the Catholic Church, including those of his predecessors, and several cardinals are having to defend the perennial teachings of the Church against this same pope. It's crazy. This isn't the way things are supposed to work. I have my own idea as to what is going on, but only time will tell if I am right or wrong. If I am right, then everything makes perfect sense. Only the good Lord can straighten this "lío" out, and I believe He will. Soon. Personally, I think that time is up for Pope Francis. I have been praying for him that he has a conversion of heart and becomes the "Holy Pope" of prophecy, but if he will not, then he will be replaced. How much grace Our Lord is wanting to give to His Vicar on earth! But His Vicar still has his free will, so it's up to him.

How to Know When Judgment is Near Posted on October 17, 2017 by Mark Mallett THE NOW WORD ON MASS READINGS for October 17th, 2017 AFTER a warm cordial greeting to the Romans, St. Paul turns on a cold shower to awaken his readers: The wrath of God is indeed being revealed from heaven against every impiety and wickedness of those who suppress the truth by their wickedness. (First reading) And then, in what can rightly be described as a prophetic “map”, St. Paul describes a progression of rebellion that would ultimately unleash the judgment of the nations. In fact, what he describes is remarkably parallel to the period of time beginning 400 years ago, until our current day. It’s as if St. Paul was, unknowingly, writing for this precise time. Of those who “suppress the truth”, he writes: What can be known about God is evident to them, because God made it evident to them. Ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes of eternal power and divinity have been able to be understood and perceived in what he has made. At the beginning of the so-called Enlightenment period four centuries ago, science was beginning to emerge with new powers and discoveries. But rather than attribute the marvels of creation to God, men—falling into the temptation and error of Adam and Eve—believed that they too could become like God. … those who followed in the intellectual current of modernity that [Francis Bacon] inspired were wrong to believe that man would be redeemed through science. Such an expectation asks too much of science; this kind of hope is deceptive. Science can contribute greatly to making the world and mankind more human. St. Paul perfectly elucidates the consequences of this vain reasoning: While claiming to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for the likeness of an image of mortal man or of birds or of four-legged animals or of snakes. How many things in our times fit this description! Do not birds and four-legged animals have more rights than an unborn baby? And has not our generation exchanged the glory of God for the “likeness” of an image of mortal man? That is, hasn’t a sexualized “selfie” culture—ie. individualism and the worship of the body—displaced worship of God in many souls? And does not a massive portion of the population stare mesmerized into a television, computer, or smartphone screen instead of contemplating the face of God? And of the exchange of God for the “likeness of an image of mortal man”, isn’t the technological revolution rapidly replacing labourers with machines, producing robots for sex, and computer chips to interface with our brains? St. Paul continues, as if he is seeing into the future… Therefore, God handed them over to impurity through the lusts of their hearts for the mutual degradation of their bodies. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and revered and worshiped the creature rather than the creator, who is blessed forever. Indeed, the pinnacle of the Enlightenment period could rightly be considered the sexual revolution—an anthropological earthquake whereby sex—which is a “sign” and “symbol” of the interior communion of the Holy Trinity—was severed from its procreative function; marriage was no longer deemed a building block of society, and children were considered an obstacle to pleasure. This revolution set the stage for the last “ism” whereby man and woman would become severed from themselves—from the understanding and reality of their very natures: God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Expert warns ‘significant’ distortion in Canaries LA PALMA volcano’s red-hot magma has risen after its recent flurry of earthquakes causing the ground on the Canary Islands to “significantly” rise above ground level, experts said. Volcano experts discovered the ground in the area surrounding local hotel Teneguia Princess hotel has risen by about 1cm to the south and 3.5cm upwards over the past year, according to GPS sensors regulating ground deformation. The shocking results from the Volcanological Institute of the Canary Islands (Involcan) come after the archipelago was rocked by two separate seismic swarms in the area surrounding the deadly Cumbre Vieja. One of the world's leading experts in volcanology, Professor Takeshi Sagiya, from the Nagoya University, described the GPS data as ”significant". He said the recorded change in height looked significant compared with the changes in the last year. The GPS sensor is located about 3.5 to 4.5 miles south of the centre of the latest seismic swarm. There were 44 earthquakes recorded up to 2.1 magnitude hit between Friday at 1.52pm and Saturday to 4.17am. They followed another seismic storm the weekend before, which saw about 50 tremors in three days, between 1.5 and 2.7 on the Richter Scale, sparking fears the islands most active volcano was about to erupt. Scientist Stefan Scheller said: “If we assume the magma accumulation lies below the seismic swarm and thus raises the ground above. “A circular elevation of the ground about 7 km around the centre means a quantity of raised rock with a volume of approximately 5 million m³, which corresponds to approximately 12.5 million tons of rock.” Mr Scheller also played down the recent activity, but did not rule out an eruption would take place. He said only the future will tell if the rock above the magma is stable enough to stop the movement or if the rise breaks the rock even more, which would be reflected in future micro-earthquakes, and over time would lead to an eruption. But he insisted deformation had begun a year ago and there was no reason to be rushed or alarmed. Meanwhile, the National Geological Institute (IGN) insisted hat its sensors have not detected any deformation of the ground. Korea nuclear test site may be a 'Tired Mountain': 38 North Seoul (AFP) - North Korea's nuclear test site may be suffering from the geological condition "Tired Mountain Syndrome" following the latest in a series of atomic blasts, but it is unlikely to be abandoned, an expert website said Wednesday. The last five of Pyongyang's six nuclear tests have all been carried out under Mount Mantap at the Punggye-ri nuclear test site in the north-west of the country. Three small earthquakes have been detected in the immediate area since the most recent test on September 3, Pyongyang's most powerful by far. The first, soon after the blast, has been widely attributed to some form of cave-in, with two much weaker tremors taking place in late September and last week. Some reports have suggested that the site may no longer be suitable for further underground nuclear testing as a result. Tired Mountain Syndrome is a name for the effect of below-ground nuclear blasts on the surrounding rock, which is extensively fractured and becomes increasingly permeable. The respected 38 North website said there could be concern about the phenomenon at Mount Mantap, with the area affected by the September 3 test potentially extending as far as 1.4 kilometres from the detonation point. But it added: "US nuclear test history at the Nevada Test Site provides evidence that such post-test tremors are not unusual." The earthquakes were therefore "not surprising", said analysts Frank Pabian and Jack Liu. Grassley on Wednesday released a series of letters he fired off last week to 10 federal agencies, addressing those issues in detail and raising the question of whether the committee that approved the transaction was aware of the FBI probe. It had been previously reported that figures tied to the transaction gave donations to Bill Clinton and his family foundation, but Grassley wrote that he has learned additional details about a $500,000 fee the former president got from a Russian investment bank for a June 2010 speech. He wrote that the bank’s senior officers include former Russian intelligence personnel, and sources had described the company as an “extension” of the Russian government. “Notably, in the same month as the Clinton speech, Uranium One and Rosatom notified CFIUS of the Russian government’s intent to acquire twenty percent of the United States’ uranium assets. As noted in The Hill, the feds did eventually go after Vadim Mikerin, a Russian nuclear industry official, in connection with the investigation. He was later sentenced, in 2015, to 48 months in prison in connection with money laundering allegations. But Grassley wants to know whether the committee that approved the transaction was aware of the ongoing criminal probe at the time. “The fact that Rosatom subsidiaries in the United States were under criminal investigation as a result of a U.S. intelligence operation apparently around the time CFIUS approved the Uranium One/Rosatom transaction raises questions about whether that information factored into CFIUS’ decision to approve the transaction,” Grassley wrote. He said given that the deal resulted in a “Russian government takeover” of a chunk of U.S. uranium mining capacity, “very serious questions remain about the basis for the finding that this transaction did not threaten to impair U.S. national security.” When details of the Uranium One deal first emerged in 2015, Clinton’s campaign downplayed the allegations. "No one has produced a shred of evidence that Hillary Clinton ever took action as Secretary of State in order to support the interests of donors to the Clinton Foundation," a spokesman said at the time. With the 100th Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun having passed, I am also reminded that the primary mission of Our Lady of Fatima was the conversion of Russia. 1917 was the year Christian Russia was hijacked by the Bolsheviks. October was the month in which the takeover of Russia was completed, also known as “Red October.” What many don’t know is that it wasn’t until October 26th, 1917 that Russia was fully under Lenin’s control.
