My niece is also in the Red Zone and had decided to keep her kids home from school tomorrow even if the schools were open. I have been warning family members with young children to not let their kids walk to school tomorrow. Heard of a lady a couple of years ago who was stopped at a traffic light when a gust of wind blew something past her car. The something was a small child. Thank God the traffic wasn't moving and the child was ok. I thought it would only take a few minutes battening down the hatches. How wrong I was. Never realised how much stuff there is lying around outside the house that could be dangerous in high winds. A house near us had been empty for a while and had an old slate roof. The slates would fly off the roof in stormy weather. Thank God the house is occupied now and it has a new roof. Will say an extra prayer for your safety tonight.
Look how many we have had and are having! Yet the nation seems deaf to God's megaphone. A close reading of the Old Testament shows how this plays out. I can almost hear those ancient Israelites yelling at us: wake up!! We lived through this sin and chastisement. Learn from us! Stay on this path and it doesn't end well! JESUS IS COMING! (And boy, is He mad!) I like to think that, at least recently, storm names have been influenced by spiritual powers to represent messages. For example, with hurricane Sandy (which scoured the American Atlantic coast, esp. New York City), that name is a diminutive of "Cassandra", the woman in greek mythology who was cursed with perfect foreknowledge, whose warnings are ignored. In this case, "Ophelia" isn't from greek mythology but from Hamlet. She was the princess who was destined (or not) to marry Hamlet, and who went insane after being bullied (in modern terms) by lies impugning her honor. (Honestly, how many times in a day do you get to use the word "impugning" in a sentence?) As I recall it, she died after climbing in a willow tree over a stream; the branch broke, and she was unable to keep herself from drowning. Even in death the accusations continue, i.e, was it accidental or suicide? Perhaps Ireland's embrace of SSM and the possibility of legalized abortion constitutes an insanity? A sort of cultural death? In which case the question is did it happen willingly (i.e., suicide), or was it forced on Ireland (lies and slander from which she was not capable of defending herself, i.e. bullied). In any case, these massive rains will come on the heels of a drought affecting most of the countryside, complete with large swaths of the land being burned in wildfires. As any Californian will tell you, massive amounts of rain on a land where the plant cover is gone, the ground has been baked dry by fire, and everything there is ash, is never a good combination. Do you think people will still be complaining about the Irish Water Board after this?
I don't know if anyone else who is from Ireland here gets it, but there is definitely a "feeling" in the air tonight of something... A friend said two years ago that we were now in the "firing line" in terms of God's anger following the destruction of marriage in this country and it seems he is right.
Sanctus when our supreme court legalized SSM I thought "well now we are in for it" because in effect we are now living in Sodom and Gomorrah. It is an eerie horrifying feeling. I keep thinking of Francisco of Fatima spending hours in church with "the hiddenJesus" to console Him because of the wickedness of sinners. And that was in 1917! Those times seem virtuous compared to now. And the US has had one upheaval after another both natural and man made. I hope Ireland doesn't experience this but...it seems to be the way of things these days.
Whilst I think it's going to be pretty rough for the lads on the west coast this former hurricane is just a tail end for us in Ireland. I shy away from any talk of this being some sort of chastisement for what would that say about places that have actually faced down much much worse. We like to get a wee bit over excited about things in Ireland. We deserve the fire from on high. I'm not worried about a little bit of wind and rain after what has happened in the carribean and in the states

Did you ever hear Malachi Martin talk about something called "remote viewing"? He spoke about it a number of times and I was wondering if anyone could explain it. Yes, I'm very familiar with it. It's an occult practice where you are able to see things that are happening in another location. It's one of those things the US Military was investigating in using during the late 60's to late 70's. Imagine being able to sit in a darkened room in Maryland and being able to see what was going in in the Kremlin? There was one major success in the Carter era, where a remote viewer was able to locate a downed Soviet jet in Africa. It had crashed in a jungle next to a river in such a way that neither Soviet nor American satellites could see it. Thanks to remote viewing, an American team was able to pinpoint its location and get there before the Soviets. Quite an intelligence coup. The project was discontinued not because it didn't work but because it couldn't be controlled sufficiently to be weaponized.
