My Parish priest invited everyone to come on the Monday of Candlemas and receive a Blessed candle for the 3 days darkness when it comes.He even placed this statement in the bulletin on the 3 days darkness

All Christians in the these times will be martyrs. I recall in more than one retreat with Father John Hardon SJ, he said he prayed that he would get his chance to give the unlitmate sacrifice of his life for Christ. Then one day, at the convent of Mother Teresa's sister of Charity (as he was their spiritual advisior), he heard a ruckous going on in the lower level. Some men had broken in to rape the nuns. Father Hardon came out from his quarters in the balcony and he said he thought "finally God has answered my plea" for he felt he was going to give his life in keeping the nuns from getting raped. He stood on the balcony and looked at them and they at him for what seemed like a long time. Suddenly they left the complex and no harm was done. He did not get what he desired, but perhaps like so many Christians serving the Lord daily, he received the 'dry martyrdom' and that too is a great gift. Whether it is a dry martydom or a bloody one, what ever is the Will of God is all we can ask for and do.

We ALL need to prepare with Blessed candles oly water Blessed for exorcism-additional prayer a Priest will say over the water and salt also on top of his Blessing.I think im going to step out and buy unconsecrated hosts and communion wine to have on hand also.I believe we are going back to old days of Ireland when the faithful would burn a candle in the window letting priests know it was safe to celebrate Mass here
I've got the altar wine. It is hard to find altar bread..... at least our local Catholic store will not sell it to anyone unless coming from the parish preist.
Couldn't you make it (assuming we can still bake)? I think all you need is whole wheat flour (unleavened) and warm water. Nothing else should be added. Of course, one should be careful as this type of bread unlike the wafers at Church will have more particles so we should be careful to consume and clean all vessels carefully.

IJOP, this video may be interest. In an email to me, the author of this video believes that the brown dwarf is approaching from the area of the Virgo constellation - others say from Libra and that it is already responsible for upticks we are witnessing in volcanic and earthquake activity. In fact, in the coming few months we are in a more vulnerable position vis-a-vis the brown dwarf/black star in the opinion of some.
