There is no doubt that earthquakes will be a major game changer. Catholic prophecy makes mention of this many of times. They are giving plenty of indication that they are ready to blow. The destruction will be massive. Only thing we don't know is when. It makes me wonder if those who are living outside God's grace will hate him even more when major natural disasters start taking place. Will they blame God? Will they say, "how can a loving God do this"?
The patience that our Lord has is so huge that we cannot even imagine the hope and love he has for his children. I don't know if I could hold on as long as he has and the suffering that Jesus must be going through has to be immense compared to the numbers that we personally know that continue to wander from the flock. Will they blame God? They may, but down deep they know their own sinfulness. The question is will they maintain their hard heart or allow it to be opened? Remember the times when we were disciplined or when we disciplined our own children? How many turned completely away from your father your mother and severed the relationship. There still is that love that lingers that wick that only has that small left over glow within that can be powerful when allowed to be opened and allow that flame to touch the heart. It will be massive and so we continue to pray for all His children as God wills us to do......
When is the next blood moon? Luz de Maria's last messages: CHILDREN, DO NOT WAIT ANY MORE. WHEN THE MOON ONCE AGAIN TAKES THE COLOR OF BLOOD, BEND YOUR KNEES BECAUSE YOU WILL BE A STEP AWAY FROM THIS GENERATION’S GREAT LAMENT
I think Mark Mallett is spot on here. He writes today: In 2009, I wanted to shout: the days are imminent. But now they are here. May the Lord guide us through this valley of the shadow of death until we reach the pastures of Our Lady’s triumph. http://www.markmallett.com/blog/fullness-of-sin/
Absolutely, yes. But what will hit hardest will be fear, an agonising fear. This comes from attachment to earthly things. For he who is of the earth clings to earthly things. But we are people of prayer. We are blessed to have prayer as a way of life. Those who pray need not fear the present and we who fast need not fear the future. Our attachment is to heavenly things so we look to heaven even in tribulation. I have absolute confidence that whatever happens to little old me during the tribulation is already predetermined by the One who has created me. Even though I should walk through the valley of death I have absolute confidence in His Love. Should I remain I am confident of His guiding hand but should I be taken well and good as St Paul says to die is gain for Christians. During the tribulations, when those around us see that we walk in the valley of death with peace in our hearts those who want to be converted will come flocking to us. I just hope the Holy Spirit can put words in my mouth and I don't get tongue tied. I hope folk on the forum realise that when the tribulations hit hard that you are going to be in demand because the priests are going to be overwhelmed. And it will be with the warning because those who want to be saved will turn to those who have been converted and who are in a state of grace.
We in Ireland also have a partial solar eclipse to look forward to on 20 March. Padraig - click on the animation below to see what the eclipse will look like from your beloved Belfast! http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/uk/belfast
This is an interesting message. As mentioned above, the moon turns red on April 4. But this is only the penultimate blood moon, the last one being on Sept 28, then no more tetrads for 100 years. Is this message hinting at a time? "When the moon once again takes the colour of blood.........you will be a step away" What I'm taking from this is the period of time between April 4 and Sept 28 will be the beginnings of whatever the "greatest lament" is.
Mark Mallet is always worth reading and listening too...like Charlie Johnston it is worth drinking in every word. Their words are not just for now but for the Universal Church and all the generations that are to follow. The voice of the Prophet, crying in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way of the Lord'. I don't know if I am alone in this but I have always had the greatest thirst and longing to lay down my life for the Faith. Now that, as Mark indicates, the time of our testing is upon us I feel a great joy. For what could be more wonderful than to die for Christ? I wonder if anyone else on the forum has felt or feels this longing for the Baptism of blood, the doorway..the certain doorway to heaven? To wear the crown and the red sash of the martyr and carry the palm of victory in heaven. But there is a great sadness too that the dry ground of sin would not be appeased by blood alone but by the blood of so many of the Faithful. We must indeed drink of the cup that the Lamb has drunk and drink it to the lees. I walk towards it rejoicing.
Yes. I see myself in the courts. I pray they will find enough evidence to convict me of being a Christian But I know what I need to do and become before I take the stand. I need to be as spotless and pure as the Lamb of God. I must become like St Stephen - this is my mission this Lent - indeed this is my life's mission - no point in living if we can't aim for the stars.!! All things are possible to God to Whom be the glory and praise forever more. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,
I pray to be ready for this martyrdom should it come my way. But I think Jedus also calls us to face it with love and forgiveness to those who persecute us. So I think if we must face martyrdom, it must be done like St. Stephen and all the other martyrs with forgiveness of our persecutors on our lips and no hate in our heart. Isn't it amazing that we have the Gospel telling this exactly to us: Gospel MT 5:43-48 Jesus said to his disciples: “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers and sisters only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Peace
The Prophecies of Blessed Elena Aiello - Full post.... http://unveilingtheapocalypse.blogspot.com/2012/04/prophecies-of-blessed-elena-aiello.html Blessed Elena Aiello (1895-1961), an Italian stigmatic nun, who was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI in 2011, also made some prophecies which appear to link the future martyrdom of a pope with a coming chastisement involving a massive earthquake. You can find some biographical information on Bl. Elena at the Mystics of the Church blog here It is also interesting to note that in addition to associating the eschatological earthquake with the martyrdom of a future pope, Bl. Elena also appears to have foretold that fire would fall from the sky to consume the earth after a great flood which would see "the overflowing of streams and the seas" - which also conforms to the mega-tsunami hypothesis I forward in my book Unveiling the Apocalypse (given that tsunamis tend to primarily travel inland along rivers after making landfall). So this too seems to correspond with the "huge mountain, burning with fire" being thrown into the sea in Rev 8:8, which I argue in the post Mega-tsunami is connected to the future collapse of the volcano Cumbre Vieja in the Canary Islands - which many scientists believe will generate a massive tidal wave that will devastate the east coast of America. This event would almost certainly bring about the total economic collapse of the USA, leading to a shift in world power that will eventually culminate in the battle of Armageddon. As we can see below, the prophecies of Bl. Elena follow this same pattern of a massive flood, followed by a terrible war and the destruction of the earth by fire:
Im reading another apparition Church approved Our Lady of ALL Nations...talks about London destroyed and Norway to be hit the worst for its below sea level if Cumbre Vieja comes true.Actually its a scientist hes quoting the effects of such a earthquake/tsunami....Ill post it
with four equal beams. A circle appears around that, too, and in the center of the Cross I read ‘I H S’. (Ida Peerdeman) http://unveilingtheapocalypse.blogspot.com/2012/03/ida-peerdeman-and-prophecies-of-our.html On the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, June 29, 1820, she saw Saint Peter descending from heaven, robed in papal vestments and surrounded by a legion of angels. With his crosier he drew a great cross over the face of the earth, separating it into four quadrants. In each of these quadrants, he then brought forth a tree, sprouting with new life. Each tree was in the shape of a cross and enveloped in magnificent light. All the good laity and religious fled for protection underneath these trees and were spared from the tremendous chastisement. “Woe! Woe to those unobservant religious who despise their Holy Rules. They will all perish in the terrible chastisement together with all who give themselves to debauchery and follow the false maxims of their deplorable contemporary philosophy! (Bl. Elizabeth) So enigmatically, it seems that the death of the martyr-pope, the Second Pentecost, and the coming chastisement are all interconnected. The letters IHS that Ida sees in the midst of the Cross of course refers to the Christogram bearing the first three letters of Jesus' name in the Greek alphabet - iota, eta and sigma (the "H" shape in the Greek alphabet is actually the capitalisation of the letter eta - which is sounded as an "e"). Then after the threat presented towards Rome, Ida sees clouds forming over Europe, which is then engulfed by massive tidal waves. It is almost certain that this is one and the same event seen by other seers as chiefly affecting America. But here the focus is on its effects on the homeland of the visionary - Europe, and more specifically the Netherlands, which coincidently, would be one of the countries worst affected in Europe as a result of the future collapse of Cumbre Vieja. One of the original authors of the mega-tsunami hypothesis, Dr Simon Ward, outlined the effect this disaster will have on the Europe during an interview with the Daily Express: Europe would be protected from the fiercest force by the position of the other Canary Islands, but the tsunami would still bring 33ft waves to Lisbon and La Coruña within three hours. After six hours it would reach Britain, where waves up to 40 ft high would hit southwest England at 500 miles per hour, travel a mile inland and obliterate almost everything in its path. Even Britain's more sheltered shores, in the North Sea and Irish Sea, will be struck by smaller but still significant swells, causing widespread flooding in major coastal cities. "We need better models to see what the precise effects on Britain will be." Dr. Day said. However, it is likely that London could suffer sever inundation as the Thames Barrier's ability to cope with such a dramatic rise in water levels exceeds its design specifications. "The Thames estuary is already subject to major tidal surges," says Dr. Day, "and the Mega Tsunami could raise water levels by as much as 20 feet, with the surge travelling up the river at some 200 miles per hour." Devastation along both banks of the Thames would be huge, with many parts of the City and areas along both the north and south banks of the river as far as Putney Bridge and beyond experiencing severe damage. The effects on the London underground are hard to imagine, but the entire network would become flooded and the consequent loss of life would be immense." Indeed, parts of London would be uninhabitable for perhaps months and the cost of repairing and rebuilding the damage would be astronomical. Imagine, if you will, what effects such a massive inundation would have on some of our major public buildings near the Thames; The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Canary Wharf, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, and the South Bank are only a few of the many London landmarks that would be severely damaged, as indeed would the entire City of London. (See the full articlehere). It the Cumbre Vieja mega-tsunami could cause sea surges which would even affect London, then it would have a far worse effect on the Netherlands (the homeland of Ida Peerdeman) - a large portion of which lies below sea level
"I hope folk on the forum realise that when the tribulations hit hard that you are going to be in demand because the priests are going to be overwhelmed". I feel there will be many priest who are in fear and will not know what is going on either. I could be wrong, but my sense is few priests have a clue at this moment. We must keep them in daily prayer too.
Thanks for the info IJOP. The 2 Asian tsunami's of recent times were truly terrifying to behold. As an aside, 1820 must have been a special year, as, in addition to your post above written in June 1820, Ven Catherine Anne Emmerich had her famous vision of the Pope in anguish and in a place other than the Vatican on August 10, 1820.
