If you believe in the revelations of BVM to Conchita then the new Catholics will include all peoples. The Miracle is for the conversion of the world. Before you go off at me I said "If".
Lol...not sure who is BVM and no i said i believed Garabandal seems to have both good and bad...i said I believed in the illumination of conciousness. I just think even after illumination...there will still be unbelievers. The miracle at Garabandal i am 50/50...i don't think it will convert the world. The main reason is that i think, for Christ to return, we will all have to suffer. I don't believe some of us will get a free ride. Illumination of conciousness has been mentioned by many saints. In my opinion, that is what happens when we die...its part of final judgement. Non-believers have said... right before death your life flashes before our eyes. So, it is my personal spirituality that we will see all our sins (confessed and non-confessed). It will be horifying we will be crying...seeing all the sins we have commited. I also think we will see all the worlds sins. But if we are lucky, afterwords, we might see all the good (through the grace of God) we did. Whats my point...Jews have their mission, Christians have their mission. But things are starting to fall in place for the return of Our Lord Jesus. Hi FS My old spiritual director used to suggest that touchy was a better desscription than sensitive. He might even have been talking about me! Cheer up Charlie. I don't see you as the guy who goes off. I am very defensive about Garabandal. I see it as God's special gift not just to the world but to me personally. Sometimes children wreck gifts that have cost a great deal. Whenever I see my gift being altered by being added to or taken from in any way other than it was presented I react. You can imagine I do a lot of reacting. It's just how I see it, just how I react. I am not that important. Not worth getting them in a knot. The way I see it is if the messages and revelations remain true to the original in their presentation then they will be more easily acknowledged recognized accepted and credited in their fulfillment. Pijon, First we are talking about spiritual mysticism. Nothing is right and nothing is wrong. These ideas or personal mysticism or spirituality is for personal reflection to enhance ones personal spirituality. But it in no means...does it have to be accepted as fact. It is just thoughts to meditate on and possibly lead you closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. In my understanding, contrite confession absolutely forgives your sins. But I see divine judgement as perfect...therefore, I personally believe on judgement day and possibly the universal warning...we will see all our sins, confessed and not confessed. The question you have is WHY. Because it breaks us to complete humility...by seeing all our sins as well as what damage they caused, helps us prepare our souls for judgement. When we are judged there can be no denying God is Divine and Perfect Judge. We have to see everything to truly understand the great gift of salvation and judgement. Now if Through the Grace of God, he accepts us to His kingdom...we might be lucky enough to see all the good (through the Grace of God) we have done. This is not a right and wrong answer...but it is one persons perspective to our role in Gods divine plan. As for the warning...I think God is going to blast us good...to open our hearts and minds. Why would He let us off easy...by not showing us our confessed sins. He needs us to see everything...for us to make a choice. I hope that helps May Gods Will be Done
I think I see what you are trying to say but Jesus said "Let your yes be yes and your no be no, everything else comes form the evil one." Every debate can be reduced to questions that can be answered yes or no. Is this right? Yes or No. Is that wrong? Yes or no? Is this prophesy worthy of belief? Yes or no. Is this a fact? Yes or no. Is truth objective? yes or no. If you say no are you then saying that it is objectively truthful to make this claim? If you say you cannot answer etc etc. All questions can be answered yes or no. As you say private revelation does not have to be accepted as fact. But should it be accepted as fact sometimes - especially with church endorsement. In many of those cases I would suggest acceptance as fact comes pretty close to being obligatory. In a court of law the verdict depends on conviction beyond reasonable doubt. So if we have gone as far as reason can take us and allowed our faith to take over from that point through prayer and meditation and consultation how could we then reject such events as Lourdes and Fatima which were matters of private revelation. How much else falls into this genre? As for the Warning prophesied at Garabandal all we are told is that we shall be shown the wrong we have done the consequences of those wrongs and the good we should have done. In this way our consciences will be corrected. The Warning is not the final judgement day. It is another chance. I accept this as fact. No 0ne else is obliged to do so.
