MMM, a few comments: 1. Your maps are a little biased. There were at least two partition plans proposed by the British prior to the end of the British Mandate. Each of these plans carefully mapped out where the population was majority Jewish and majority Arab. Your map from 1946 is very much in error. Also, the UN plan doesn't show Jerusalem. The UN partition plan was supposed to have Jerusalem be a UN-controlled territory. That plan lasted about 48 hours until the Arabs captured the land around Jerusalem and blockaded it. 2. The land marked "Palestine" from 1949-1967 was NOT repeat NOT in any way, shape, or form "Palestine". Samaria and Judea were known at the time as "The West Bank". That's because during the Israeli War of Independence Jordan invaded and captured that land. Instead of using it to create a Palestinian state, Jordan claimed the West Bank of the Jordan (during that time Jordan was called "Transjordan", since it had both sides of the river) and started moving out the Palestinian residents and moving in Jordanians in order to bolster its claim to the land. Those Palestinians they moved out were put into refugee camps. ARABS put the Palestinians into refugee camps AFTER the war had ended and the ARABS claimed the land set aside for the Palestinians. Why didn't anyone complain to Jordan at the time? 3. Calling the land in the 4th map "Israeli-occupied" is a propaganda error. Syria, Jordan, and Egypt launched a war of aggression and conquest in 1967 (the 6-Day War) in order to "drive the Jews into the sea". (Before you claim that Israel started the war when they bombed Egypt, remember that Egypt had blockaded southern Israeli ports for 2 weeks after Egypt forcibly evicted the UN peacekeeping forces from the Sinai. Blockading another country's ports is an act of war under international law, the same as was Japan's bombing of Pearl Harbor.) By international law, when country A launches a war of aggression against country B, and country B defeats them, country B is now the owner of whatever land they captured from A. It's a way of punishing countries for starting wars of aggression and conquest. Samaria and Judah were not "occupied" by Israel, they were the lands Israel legally obtained in defending themselves against an aggressor. 4. You may want to rethink that statement about "There is no such thing as Jewish blood that somehow makes someone super, extra special to God over anyone else". a) Take a look at the number of Nobel Prize winners. Count how many winners are Jewish. You'll find that almost a majority (if not a majority) are Jewish, and they are across all fields, scientific as well as artistic. There are just 4 Muslims who have won Nobel prizes, all in literature. b) Go read Mark Twain's travelogue, "Innocents Abroad" where he describes travelling through Palestine (Israel). He describes it as a mix of desert and swamp, with blessedly little to recommend to it. Shortly thereafter, Jews started returning to Israel in large numbers. Simply put, you can chart the increase in Jewish population and increased rainfall over the years, and the graphs will match. Israel is now a green and fertile place. c) US Military schools will not study Israeli victories in wars and military tactics, because there's just too much supernatural about them. In short, the promises G_D made to the people of Israel in Scripture are still in force, even if the people have not been faithful. He has brought them from the four corners of the earth back to the land, and has continued to bless them, more than any other nationality on Earth.
The reason I bring up the potential partition of Israel is because of something Bible scholars have noted over the years: that which has been done to Israel will be done to Israel's oppressors in return. If the US is involved in the partition of Israel (which I strongly suspect is what Obama has planned) then we can count on the US being partitioned in return.

In fact I imagine a great many of them came from Jewish roots even if born muslim. In fact it's been proven so. So I guess they are blessed by God too? Correct? Muzhik, is this really what us Catholics believe? I always thought that was an evangelical protestant belief in the vein of Hal Lindsey. Naturally, I do support the Jewish people and the state of Israel but if a state of Palestine were created through mutual agreement and not coercion I would be okay with that. Besides, a lot of these ME countries are made up countries too. I'm not saying their culture and customs are made up but rather their ' defined borders'. I recall seeing a VICE documentary about ISIS a while back and the terrorist was explaining that they reject all the ' western created borders' of all these ME countries..I suppose even a fool can have point..

The question of the Jews has always been central to Creation. This shouldn't come as a surprise as Our Lord chose to be incarnate as one and His Mother is one. I have never read or heard any suggestion that Our Lord ceased to be Jewish upon His Resurrection, but I stand open to correction. We know that family and community loyalties are considered goods within Christianity and that our God is a personal god. I find it hard to conclude that there doesn't still remain a special Divine regard for this group of people. Whether they are a race, tribe, ethnic group, religion, nation or whatever one might describe them, the Jews are both blessed and cursed, and perhaps there is a Holy balance in this. They get blamed for much of the world's ills, which is not surprising. They are blessed as a gifted people, the people deemed worthy of the Christ. Therefore, they excel at everything they put their mind or hand to. If they are at the top of banking, entertainment, media, science or any other field one might mention, even dominating these out of all proportion to their numbers, this is attributable to their great talent and genius on the one hand and their loyalty to one another on the other. They may be central to much that is evil resulting from such centrality in the nub of events, but is it more of a curse than anything wilful and should we cut them some slack?
