Genuine question: Re Greek election - Does anyone know if there was a gay rights party in the election? Reason I ask is I'm trying to figure out why there are so many gay 'rainbow' flags waving in the crowds in Athens??

Perhaps too early to say. The Spanish elections at the end of this year will be interesting. Apparently there were some Spanish flags waving in Athens tonight. Whether the new Greek ruling party will be successful or not remains to be seen, but if they are successful and improve the situation in Greece and Spain and Italy start to follow their example, where on earth will that leave the Euro then?
I often wonder what the world will be like after the chastisements and warnings come to pass. What will the culture be like, cities, lifestyle etc? Ivan from Medjugorje spoke about the "physical changes" the world is going to see after the secrets. Anyone have any ideas?

The one thing to note in this article is the panic of people upon hearing of the storm. They are cleaning out grocery stores and hardware stores in no time. When the real crisis hits it will be to late to start storing goods (matches, food, water, etc..) and once they are gone there will not be more trucks pulling in to restock most items. This day is closer than we think.

I agree Fatima - I had an interesting experience the weekend before last. I went to the shop to buy an item that I later found was out of stock. I was only slightly inconvenienced, but thought to myself what I would do if everything in the shop was out of stock.
No wonder a great thunder & lightning storm crossed over the parliament building immediately after this ceremony!!
Good point. These storms could be God's way of preparing people to prepare. Too bad more are not turning to prayer.
I heard this on the radio today and was struck by the same thing! I think the Greek Orthodox Church being omitted from the ceremony is a big sign!
