US Capitol is under lockdown now?

Someone thought they saw an employee walking around with a possible weapon, so to err on the side of caution, it was reported. The Capitol was on lockdown, but as of 11 am EDT the lockdown has been lifted. No further problems. Whew.
Getting ready to take husband to same-day surgery today. Say a little prayer for successful surgery and speedy recovery, please. I have been reciting the Memorare all morning

Canada will send a battle group of soldiers to Latvia by early 2017 as part of a NATO plan to counter fears of Russian aggression in eastern Europe, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed Friday.

The roughly 450 Canadians will form the nucleus of a robust multi-national combat battalion, part of a brigade to provide credible deterrence against further Russian expansionism in the region.

That number could fluctuate depending upon negotiations with other allies who are expected to help fill out the ranks for an open-ended mission, which Canada's chief of defence staff says raises the stakes for any nation thinking of interfering in the Baltics.

"What deterrence looks like is that it raises the threshold of risk (for Russia). It may be slight, but it is definitely there," said Gen. Jonathan Vance.

"You can use the term 'tripwire' as a descriptors, but what it really does is raise that calculus of risk. Do you take any steps against a NATO nation given that the alliance has decided to put in very credible combat forces?"

In addition, the Liberal government renewed a commitment to provide six CF-18 fighter jets for air policing duties over the Baltic states, a mission the air force last conducted in 2014.

The deployment of a navy frigate as part of NATO's standing task force — something that was first ordered by the former Conservative government — will continue as well.

We are all praying for the families and citizens of Dallas.

For me this was a turning point. It shook me to the core yesterday. Citizens killing citizens. Racial divisions levered wider. Law enforcement under attack and attacking.

Yet, it seems to me, the press are ignoring the catastrophic implications . They are all too clear to those of us following events closely. I know we have been talking about how things might play out but I really feel unready and unsteady.

People are leaving the forum, too , when we need to band together. How about those thinking of throwing in the towel stick to the supportive threads rather than the hotly debated topics? Then we can be there for each other?

 

The Black Lives Matter campaign reminds me a lot of the movement behind Martin Luther King. The difference being that Martin Luther King was a man of God. From what I can see BLM is not led by God, but rather the opposite. Since America is not led by God anymore either... I can only see this situation escalate.

 

Husband came through surgery just fine yesterday. Thanks for prayers. I have a couple of things floating around in my brain. Hard to picture right now that Charlie Johnston says that Russia and the US will become allies and fight Chinese aggression. I think I remember he said that. Also, I have been listening to some of the comments made by officials after the Dallas attacks as the shock wears off and reality sets in. More mention of God is being made in the aftermath. Openly.
But still, in the Bible and in all the personal prophecies, it is foretold to get much worse. The Lord is able to bring good out of bad. I feel He is doing that. I also am reminded that the timing and the extent of some of the chastisements are conditional to our response and prayerful living. That is what God wants, for us to live in union with Him.

 

I praise Jesus Christ that your husband came through the surgery and that he is on the mend! Your statement from Charlie reminds me many years ago I read the nostradameous said the Eagle and the Bear will go against the Dragon.

Russia will invade Europe and China will attack USA, but at some point China will attack Russia, betraying it. I suppose that could happen after the consecration of Russia, and only then Russia might join USA.

 

What is...

 

If China were to attack Russia (which I do not see happening), I do not see why the US would come to the aid of Russia, or vice versa. If China attacks Russia, this only serves the agenda of global dominance of the NWO. I could envision a temporary truce between Russia and the West at best in light of China attacking both Russia and the US.

 

I think the prophecies indicate that the US is destabilised by natural, economic disasters or civil unrest ( or all three) whilst Europe is also in turmoil.

Russia, apparently, comes to the aid of all of us (Europe and elsewhere) to support the establishment of the new age. I think S America was mentioned as having a big role.

This is my super brief, clumsy summary of what I have read.
