It might sound irrelevant. But I am more and more sure that abortion is a realy big cause of what is coming down towards us. Not the only thing of course. But a really, realy big cause.
STATEMENT BY MOTHER TERESA SENT TO THE CAIRO INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POPULATION AND DEVELOPMENT ON SEPT. 9, 1994 "I speak today to you from my heart - to each person in all the nations of the world, to people with power to make big decisions as well as to all the mothers, fathers and children in the cities, towns and villages. "Each one of us is here today because we have been loved by God who created us and our parents who accepted and cared enough to give us life. Life is the most beautiful gift of God. That is why it is so painful to see what is happening today in so many places around the world: life is being deliberately destroyed by war, by violence, by abortion. And we have been created by God for greater things - to love and be loved. "I have said often, and I am sure of it, that the greatest destroyer of peace in the world today is abortion. If a mother can kill her own child, what is there to stop you and me from killing each other? The only one who has the right to take life is the One who has created it. Nobody else has that right: not conference, no government. "I am sure that deep down in your heart, you know that the unborn child is a human being loved by God, like you and me. How can anyone knowing that, deliberately destroy that life? It frightens me to think of all the people who kill their conscience so that they can perform an abortion. When we die, we will come face to face with God, the Author of life. Who will give an account to God for the millions and millions of babies who were not allowed to have the chance to live, to experience loving and being loved? "God has created a world big enough for all the lives He wishes to be born. It is only our hearts that are not big enough to want them and accept them. If all the money that is being spent on finding ways to kill people was used instead to feed them and house them and educate them - how beautiful that would be. We are too often afraid of the sacrifices we might have to make. But where there is love, there is always sacrifice. And when we love until it hurts, there is joy and peace. "If there is a child that you don't want or can't feed or educate, give that child to me. I will not refuse any child. I will give a home, or find loving parents for him or for her. We are fighting abortion by adoption and have given thousands of children to caring families. And it is so beautiful to see the love and unity that a child brings to a family. "The child is the most beautiful gift of God to a family, to a nation. Let us never refuse this gift of God. My prayer for each one of you is that you may always have the faith to see and love God in each person including the unborn. God bless you."

Yes. Abortion is awful. Although at Fatima of course Mary said the most souls go to hell through the sins of impurity. But that was back in 1918, when abortion was not such a big deal. Still even today I would say impurity and perversion. Today more than ever. In 1918 there was perversion but people did it in secret, now they boast of it. The difficulty with abortion is it is a particular sin, very diabolical, like infant sacrifice to demons. Being such I believe it has great pwer to open the gates of hell...and if ever there ws a time in all of history whent eh gates of hell are opened it is today. Padre Pio said when he looked up to the sky he could not even see it there are so many of them. We live in huge darkness but are so used to it we don't even supect.
True it is despicable. Our Priests and Bishops have no back bone. I would have chased them out of the Church swinging a baseball bat.

Yes. You're right Padaig. And also because the American government exports it's abortion ideology to the poor countries of the world in return for money in the form of foreign aid... It's diabolical and God the Father will act against America specifically to stop this. A merciful chastisement for this country and it's most heinous crime.
While that is the "official" day of the war start, in reality it began in two other places. But nobody mentions those because Herr Hitler wasn't involved, and we have to blame WW-2 only on the insane Austrian. Japan invaded China on September 18, 1931. Nobody said anything Italy invaded Ethiopia in October 1935. Nobody said anything. Hitler invaded Poland September 1. The Brits and French declared war on Hitler Russia invaded Poland September 17, 1939. Nobody said anything.
Last week in our Church, a priest gave a sermon and directly and forcefully reminded the congregation the supporters of abortion and euthanasia cannot receive communion. This week, we had a different priest who, at the prayers of the faithful, prayed 2 prayers: 1. That women in difficult pregnancies will experience the love and support of family and community. 2. That there will be a renewed recognition for the necessity of the protection of the unborn. (I've paraphrased slightly). That's two weeks in a row I've heard this talk in my local church! Up to now, believe it or not, I never ever ever heard a sermon even allude to abortion. I'm delighted with my local lads, fair play to them. Good priests.
Charles K is an incredible voice of reason in today's political commentary. I hang on his every word. Are you aware he is wheelchair bound Fatima? You would never know by watching him on TV. He was paralyzed after a diving accident at 21 years of age cervical area....while attending Harvard Medical School.
I think we are clearly at the moment of The Cross. The timing is all interesting as the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is just 2 weeks away on Sept. 14th. I read the blog below which is a homily from Today's Readings at Mass by Deacon Greg. I think he really dies a good job. I never thought of it before that when Jesus tells Peter to get behind me satan, it was because he was blocking Our Lords view of Calvary which was His view of the Fathers will for him. These words are good for me to hear as are tge ones that the good Deacon reminded us of what Pope Benedict said about Gods will: "You can spend a lifetime trying to answer that question. A few years ago Pope Benedict asked a gathering of priests to pray for a special intention of the pope. One of the priests asked him what that intention was. And Benedict replied: “Pray that I never get in the way of Jesus.” I was happy to read this! Yes, it's not easy to always do this because of our human frailties. But, when I think about how we sometimes make idols of other people, places or things, we sometimes get in the way of the view we should have toward Jesus. Peter was a saint- our first pope- yet he had his view of Jesus- which blocked him from seeing the will of the Father. I don't know what is coming next - none of us do. I pray though like Pope Benedict to not get in the way of Jesus. I pray that in these times upon us that I can not just pick up the Cross, but like Jesus hold onto it and kiss it and love it - knowing it is the instrument needed to be with Him in eternity. We adore you O Christ and we bless you. Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/deacon...-august-31-2014-22nd-sunday-in-ordinary-time/
Another sign: locust plague descends on Madagascan capital. More photos of the locust invasion on this French website.
Just on the question of abortion being a cause of this I think its curious that on this map pretty much the worst area in Europe for abortion appears to be the Luhansk region of Ukraine (thats the bit of Ukraine jutting into Russia), precisely where all the fighting is now:
If my cartography skills are any good, it appears that the only countries in the EU that are blue (low rates) are Poland and Portugal. Now, we all know that there are no coincidences and look what happened in these two places - the revelation to St. Faustina of Jesus' Divine Mercy occurred in Poland and of course Our Lady's apparitions and requests in Fatima , Portugal! I also find it interesting that in the map in question, the color most typically associated with Our Lady, Blue, is used to distinguish these countries. I'm wondering if anyone knows of prophecies about the role, if any, these two nations will play in the days ahead?
Remember from Mark Mallett's writing back in July: "Last year, I was interviewed by an evangelical news host, Rick Wiles. Rick is on a beautiful journey of truth, that in part, is leading him back to the Liturgy and the Sacraments. In fact, Rick believes in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, something even many Catholics do not today.” And in the Protestant prophetic, Our Lord speaks of the Eucharist without using the word Eucharist for disbelief, well, until the Warning. Still, Jesus says it. The word "abideth" was changed in the KJV to "dwelleth." excerpt from a message to Glynda Linkous August 31, 2014 Incredible "No place shall be safe from the evil that is coming. Only by abiding in Me will you be saved from this." John 6:57 (verse 56 in KJV) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him.
