Two years ago, the headline below seemed alarming, but it was written off as media spin and manipulation. In hindsight it is horrifying, an indicator of things to come. Add this to the refusal to genuflect at the Consecration, yesterday's news of Lutherans being admitted to the Holy Eucharist at the Vatican, and the insistence of admitting the divorced and remarried to the Holy Eucharist, and one starts to question belief in bedrock teachings at the highest levels in the Vatican.

I have come to believe that Pope Francis, as I've said before here, is playing his Role as The Lord is directing him. If you believe that The Storm is NOT upon us then ... well ... "Bless Your Heart"!
Those of us who believe that The Storm is NOW have more important things to concern ourselves with other than the latest, most likely spun-n-distorted, "News" from Vatican City! Here is my take on the above. It is a "Sign" and a positive and constructive one. Many of us, especially those in Catholic minority areas, will be gathering with non-Catholic People of Faith for our survival and, Lord Willing!, Rescue! I say again and I believe ... and Hope/Pray .... that many over scruples types here will survive to see the re-built & Glorious Church post The Rescue ... and be surprised and probably shocked at what it may "look-like"!

Askola is considered as a liberal; for example she supports same-sex marriage. She also said she wants to welcome more same-sex couples for Church blessings, but that no pastors would be compelled to do so.

If it offends the Traditional Teachings of the Church it is errant

It is errant according to Scripture and the Teachings of the Church back to the Fathers to give the Body and Blood of Christ to those who do not believe in Transubstantiation

You know his is not new news; Communion cannot be given to Protestants;
