a feeling came to my mind a short time ago, lets show our support for pope benedict xv1, this could be done in many different ways, through prayer , fasting, doing charitable deeds for others ie, helping pensioners who we all know, and disabled people giving them an helping hand, all of this could be offered up to heaven, out of love , for our dear pope, just imagine if everybody did this it could change the whole world , i know it is impossible, as everyone wont change, but the rewards from heaven , if many people did change, and did the things mentioned above, would not only be of help to us all , but would greatly benefit our dear pope, whose thoughts are with us all, at this present time, a way to show our support, and what wed like to do for him ,could be like the following below, if anyone would like to show their support , write out what their prepared to do for him , norman= many prayers, 3 masses, novenas,holy hours =3per day
It has been my intention to do the novena of 9 first Saturdays and Fridays starting tomorrow as given to Sr Natalia of Hungary in honour of the two hearts of Jesus and Mary. I will do my best to complete this novena with the intention of supporting Our Holy Father. (I like how the Italians refer to him as 'Il papa'. It is so affectionate.) I think this is a really good idea - very practical. Thanks
I too have been conscious of our beloved Pope and offer prayer and sacrifice for him. He is the Peter chosen by Christ for this time. How blessed we are to have had such wonderful Popes in our life-time!
