I will keep you Mike and your dear wife in my prayers. Thank God you have the grace to accept this suffering and see how God is using it. May the good Lord have mercy on Mary Ellen.
Eternal Rest for Mary Ellen O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. You and your wife are in my prayers! Thank you Jesus!
Just a quick note to again thank you all for your prayers. They are sustaining my wife and I as we continue our recovery. I ask for continued prayer- especially for my wife who has now been in hospital for 3 months that her spirits remain up to continue the rehab. She is a true woman of faith- an example to my family of trust. I also ask for prayers that a decision I am making is the right one- it also comes down to trust that God will provide. My company has told me that if I do not return to work by end of the month, my health benefits will stop and I will need to pay premiums. While I’ve made progress, I’m not able to return. It’s not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as I continue to reflect on God saving me and allowing me to stay here. I’m so grateful and I keep asking myself where and what do you want from me Lord? I do know just as we have during these past 3 months, it’s about discovering what’s in my heart- do I love and trust God above all else. I humbly ask you for a wee prayer that I have the right discernment and trust in God. Please know that my wife and I pray the Morning office each day and we bring the intentions of this Community to God. Peace.
Praying miker for the Holy Spirit to give you the necessary wisdom to make such important decisions. I can't begin to comprehend what you both have been through.
Oh miker your family is on my heart and in my prayers. Discernment prayers for yourself as both of you heal.
Dear Miler, you and your wife will be in our family Rosaries. It is crazy what is going on these days. Your trials are immense, alongside so many others' trials here on this forum. I pray that you may heal and a solution can be found for your work and health insurance. Stay strong! Trust in our Good Lord and in our Holy Mother. So much suffering these days. A friend from our parish has a sister who recently lost a daughter to drug overdose. A neighbor down the road, a Christian woman, also badly injured from a car accident. Here is a five day novena to the Little Flower which our family finished today. https://reconciledtoyou.com/posts/powerful-5-day-novena-to-st-therese-worthrevisit/ On the good side, Donald Trump has been elected and is pushing for peace in Ukraine and in the Middle East. He is planning to cut the bureaucracy in America and reviewing the outcome of the Covid-vaccines. I am very happy for Americans. So in response, the evil forces are going mad, lots of attack these days. You will definitely be in our prayers. God bless!!!
@miker Continued prayers brother please seek professional advice in relation to your employment rights, petition for you left under our sleeping St Joseph
Thank you that you take time to remember us in the midst of your heavy Cross. May Jesus provide you with financial means to carry on. May your extended family continue to be vigilant in their loving care. May Mary wrap you both in her Mantle of Maternal love and may the Holy Spirit provide the way with wisdom and fortitude in the next few months!
I'm so sorry, miker, this is such a heavy cross for you and your wife. I pray that you are both blessed with recovery, and a resolution for the insurance issue with your employer.
I support all the above comments and prayed for all on here today. I will continue to pray. May God Bless you , your wife and family.
Awe Mike... May God bless and keep you and your family. I remember you posting the consecration everyday. I only completed it because of you. I'm for 9:30 mass tomorrow morning. I'll offer it for you and your wife. God bless you both.
Can't you look into going on long term disability? Then you don't have to worry about this stuff and you can take your time. I would think in light of your accident, that would be a possibility. LTD is not just physically but can be emotionally as well. Something to look into for sure.
