I dreamed last night that I read about two deaths caused by a mysterious disease that caused blindness, and that doctors in Europe were on high alert as they attended to patients; in the course of the dream I commented on the book " Blindness Essay " (1995) by Jose Saramago, the disease had a double compound name with the word " aurora " and in the course of the dream I read a bizarre fact that Queen Elizabeth II would have died blind from one of the eyes
Well, Jason, I heard the other day that the actual cause of death for QE II was old age. It could line up with blindness in one eye.
Zechariah 6:7 …6The one with the black horses is going toward the land of the north, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.” 7As the strong horses went out, they were eager to go and patrol the earth; and the LORD said, “Go and patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth. 8Then the LORD summoned me and said, “Behold, those going to the land of the north have given rest to My Spirit in the land of the north.”… I had the most wonderful consoling dream when I came home from work this morning. I had been a little worried, well more than a little...about all that is going on both in the Church and the World. I dreamt I stood before the Throne of God with several angels around it. I then dreamt that out of nowhere steeped the most beautiful white horse which walked in front of me greeted me as though in recognition. It then went before the Throne and bent its knees in Adoration. Seven white horses did the exact same thing but the last horse was more beautiful than all the rest ;when I saw it my heart thrilled with very great joy and recognition. I saw the horse was very joyful too as we met. It, too, knelt before the Throne. Revelation 12:7-12 7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. 12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”
I am so glad you were consoled. I know in Revelation Jesus rides a white horse but can you share what you think it means?
I love that dream! I miss my horses who died of old age around 10 years ago. I love to remember that our Lord has horses Himself.
I had a very vivid dream a few years ago that I am convinced was from God. I dreamed I was walking in a gray landscape with gray skies. It was flat, nothing going on and no wind or noise. I somehow knew I was in purgatory. I felt walking beside me the Blessed Virgin, who told me I was there for 40 years! I was not distressed, and felt very happy to have her with me. I felt that for years as I walked along this life praying the rosary each day she was going to walk along with me and keep me company in return. I'm not sure if that would be a possibility to have her with us, but the thought of 40 years there without her scared me enough to work harder at avoiding even venial sin LOL
I think the last and most beautiful horse was St Michael the Arcangel and the others were the seven spirits who stand in the presence of God
My dream...I wanted to share and get your thoughts. I had a good friend who passed away about 30 years ago, the kindest person I have ever known. She was not a Catholic, she was Japanese, but didn't appear to practice any religion. I have been praying for her soul all these years. I recently dreamed that someone came to my front door and when I opened it, it was my dear friend. She was holding two beautiful bouquets of flowers for me, one in each hand, each bouquet was different. She was a younger version of herself. I remember this detail vividly... her face was so smooth, with no wrinkles, but everything else was the same ie. her hairstyle, her short statue, etc. I don't know if it means anything, but I wanted to get your thoughts. A couple of things make me think that she may be in heaven now (ie. her smooth young face) and that she came to me in my dream to thank me for praying for her all these years (ie. the two bouquets of flowers). Any thoughts?
I think she was letting you know she is in Heaven now and thanking you for your prayers. That’s very dedicated of you to continue praying for her all these years.
I think you are right Shae. She is thanking you and showing you her happiness. What a lovely gift from God to let you know.
Beautiful act of loyalty and love for an old friend. The 2 bouquets could mean that you actually did two things for your friend's soul - prayers and something else. Or it could be that the benefits of your prayers for your friend's soul was applied to her and to someone else as well - shown through 1 bouquet being from your friend and the other from some other soul. This interpretation is based on a dream I had some years ago where I saw the soul of a dear cousin and another soul both being released from a "holding house". As they left this house, I saw a ton of small brown boxes they had left behind, piled into a corner of the room. Each exquisitely perfect box was marked with either of 2 names - Betty (my cousin) and a Jobbiah. Until today, I haven't the foggiest idea of who Jobbiah is. But for some reason, I was shown both being released. So, perhaps the paltry prayers I had offered up helped both souls in some way. Just goes to show that every little thing we do matters. What more the persistent prayers like yours, Shae.
Oh, I hadn’t thought about that possibility Seagrace! I was wondering why the two different bouquets.
Not quite a year ago I dreamt I was in a place where there was no light. Just complete darkness, but no fear so I just kept walking not seeing or knowing where I was going. Eventually, I came to a very high grey wall that was dimly illuminated. Then I noticed a door that was narrow but very tall; there was no handle to open it. I stared at the door for a bit, and then heard a voice asking if I wanted to go through to the other side. I stepped back, considering it. Then, out of the corner of my eye I saw someone laying on the ground. Because the person was farther back from the door I could barely see the form of the body and I replied that I couldn't leave whoever that was behind.....Then I woke up. No idea who the person was. A few months later, I dreamt I was in the same black place, but I could only sort of make out the wall. The body was gone. Then I turned around and in front of me stood the Lord Himself, in a purple robe, wearing the Crown of Thorns, just standing there looking at me. Astonished, I just stared back at Him, then I woke up... A few days ago, (not a dream), I went to church for adoration. It was an unsettling week, so I was greatly looking forward to a bit of peace. As soon as I entered the church I felt something was off. Went and settled in "my spot", but I just couldn't shake off the distress I was feeling so I got up to leave. While kneeling down before heading out the door, I looked up at the monstrance and where the Host should have been, all I saw was a dark hole. The altar was well lit as usual, but it was like there was no Jesus. I wasn't afraid but very very upset to the point of tears, and I left. I don't know what to make of this, but I think the two dreams and what happened last week are related. any thoughts?
