On June 24th it was 33rd anniversary of the apparitions Medjugorje - a very significant milestone considering our Blessed Lord lived 33 years on earth. Our Lady has been sent to lead us out of the wilderness of sin. No one could have predicted 33 years ago that the world would be plunged into a new dark age of sin and perversion which is justified and enshrined in legislation. Things are beyond bad because even we Christians don't really realise how far our civilization has fallen into the pit of sin and into a culture of death. Look around. We live in an age of unprecedented egotism and darkness. Evil has come to reign. "Children, darkness reigns over the whole world (30:7:1987) Be my light and illuminate all souls where darkness reigns (2:3:1997) Small is the number of those who understand and follow me. Great is the number of those who are lost (2:5:2104) As Moses led the children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt a journey of 40 years in the wilderness then it seems probable that there will be another seven years of messages from Medjugorje - in the most recent monthly message our Lady states that God is allowing her to continue to lead us to the peace promised when her Immaculate Heart will triumph. “Dear children! The Most High is giving me the grace that I can still be with you and to lead you in prayer towards the way of peace (25:6:2014) These are seven decisive years and prophecy indicates that they will be a period of tribulation for the world on the path to peace. The Bible shows us that when mankind has apostacised and sinned God leads man back through tribulation. Sin must be purified by Justice. Either man self corrects or God corrects. We have been given time as at Nineveh to repent and turn back to God but the sands of time are running out in this time of grace. We will face the consequences of our sin in a painful purification, which must happen because the saints are calling daily for the justice of God to purify the world. The world has been purified before - by the waters of the flood, by the blood of the Lamb and the coming fire of purification. Thank God for our Lady who is with us through these decisive years. She is a Mother to us all and Her Immaculate Heart is the refuge of Christians.
