I started following the protestant prophet Terry Bennett after Peter B. mentioned him. He was interviewed by Rick Wiles on TruNews this week and said some interesting things: 1. He says he had a vision in 2001 and saw events from 2008 to 2028. 2. The upheaval in the U.S. will end up being a blessing. When the U.S. loses all power, the anti-Christ will have no use for us, while he focuses on Europe. 3. He saw a world religion that merged the Christian, Jewish and and Muslim faiths. He saw millions of Catholics who would not join, and millions of Catholics martyred because of this. 4. He saw some entire nations that would not go along - and specifically mentioned Ireland and Scotland. Terry Bennett already said much of what he discussed with Rick Wiles during the Lancaster Prophetic Conference last month (alongside Neville Johnson and Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, who had experienced very similar visions). So I already knew that in his 2001 visitation he had been told - allegedly by the Angel Gabriel - to watch Greece, Italy, Spain and France as indicators of the coming crisis. This Trunews interview is however the first occasion that I have heard Terry B. connect these four countries specifically with the future rise of the Antichrist economic-political-religious system in Europe, quoting his angelic visitor as follows: 'Greece is going to want another Alexander the Great. Italy is going to want an Emperor. Spain is going to want a King and Queen, and France is going to want Napoleon. And Satan is going to offer that to them in one person. And they will say yes.' Looking at the current situation, what is chilling is this has all become credible in a way that could hardly even have been dreamed about in 2001. Greece - no comment. Italy is a failed state economically and a joke politically. In Spain after the abdication of Juan Carlos the scandal-hit monarchy is in crisis. France is bankrupt and has a president whose popularity rating is at 13%. So all conditions of possibility are now in place...
When you say the U.S. loses all power, do you mean politically?? A mystic priest I know said he saw Asian (China?) military going from door to door killing people in the U.S. in a vision.
The Protestant prophets are talking about an invasion by Russia on one coast and China on the other. John Paul Jackson and Terry Bennett had the same vision of headlines in the U.S. about martial law, secession of states from the union, famine, plagues , earthquakes, floods, volcanos and tsunamis. They speak of a domino effect of one thing after the other causing total devastation. That as far as I can see is outside his 'prophetic remit', so to speak. In general, my impression trying to look at the 'Big Picture' is that, although the Lord does occasionally allude to Protestantism in prophecies given to Catholics (a good example being the visions of Ida Peerdeman in Amsterdam concerning problems in the Church of England) and vice versa, this is relatively infrequent, and that it is much more common for God to use his prophets to address issues within their own Christian communities. At least as far as going into details is concerned.
I just watched one of Terry Bennett's videos uploaded in 2011 and he stated it was revealed to him that Spain is going to experience civil unrest due to a part of the country wanting to secede and that they are going to experience a possible civil war or at least large unrest. It seems that this is an accurate prediction as Spain is currently experiencing Catalonia wanting to break away. It is worth keeping a close eye on Spain I would think.
To this should be added the latest urgent video message from Rick Joyner (one of Terry Bennett's mentors and a senior figure within charismatic evangelical circles). Joyner is someone I take extremely seriously as of all non-Catholic/Orthodox prophetic voices he is probably the one who has had more private revelation than any other, transcribed in several prophetic books over 25+ years (The Final Quest, The Call, The Torch and the Sword, The Path...) that I have studied and which contain nothing contrary to Catholic doctrine as far as I can see. His book When God walked the Earth seems to have been the result of a similar experience to that of Catherine Emmerich/Maria Valtorta/Alan Ames in being taken back to the time of Jesus in a vision. In this message Rick Joyner relates what he strongly senses was a conditional prophetic dream concerning imminent grave problems (ISIS-style terrorism as a result of the effective removal of the southern border, followed by widespread civil unrest and the appearance of extreme right-wing militia) in the US if appropriate action is not taken. Yes, the conditions for such could appear to be ripe....and those conditions almost appear deliberately permitted.
I urge all forum members from the U.S. to listen to Rick Joyner's message posted by Peter. I've been following him for over a year, and I've never heard him make an urgent warning like this. (He, along with Terry Bennett, are the most open to Catholic brothers and sisters, and Rick has had a Catholic priest on his programs, and caught a lot of flack for it, but didn't apologize.)
He asks about the role and power of the sheriff. In a uniquely, American way, the county sheriff is part of the executive branch and us sworn to defend the Constitution. He/she is the highest authority in THEIR county and under the US Constitution have all the authority they need to disregard federal law IF it violates the Constitution. Great to see something like this. It seems people are living in fear and seeing their liberties and freedoms being eroded which is totally unjust. Here in Ireland it is bad, but my heart really goes out to you guys and what you are currently experiencing.
