After a flurry of articles, scriptures, and spiritual convictions, I’ve decided to share what’s on my heart. Normally, I have a tendency to ramble, so I will attempt to be more concise! :roll: Yesterday, I read an article entitled, Mejanomics, written by the gentleman garabandal has appreciated of late, a Friend of Medjugorje. He pointed out, that from 1984 through 1986, Our Lady did not give monthly messages to the world. Instead, she instructed the people of Medjugorje in holiness through weekly messages. Interestingly enough, one of her requests focused on Matthew 6:24-34. Mary asked them to meditate on this scripture every Thursday! 24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well. 34 "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day. Our Lady said that satan’s plan was to ensnare the world through materialism. By allowing ourselves to be enticed by desires for wealth and possessions, the spiritual longings of our souls would be snuffed out. After all, Saint Paul warns us that the love of money is the root of all evil! In contrast, the Good News is so simple. Seek God. Pursue holiness. Search out his will. Let the desire for godly adornment satisfy our hearts and He will supply all the necessities of life. He has given us all the spiritual blessings of heaven: his Son, his mercy, his Holy Spirit, Our Lady, the Holy Church, etc…Why will he not provide for our physical needs as well? He is the Almighty! Psalm 37 sums it up beautifully: 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy security. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. There it is again. Trust in Him. Do good. Love God. Love neighbor. As the world descends into greater chaos and disorder, let us take refuge under Mary’s mantle. As the noose of tyrannical governments ever tightens, live freely under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Reach out to others with grace and truth. Confident that the Father cares for us, let us give generously to those in need. Be not afraid! Rejoice and be glad! We have helped one another with words of encouragement, humor, and wisdom. Medjugorje is our lady's school of Holiness We all need to work on our personal holiness which is a priority in these times by seeking God's grace to grow in his grace and love. Let us use this time of grace to grow in the love of God and neighbour reaching Christian perfection. The shortest means by which we can become perfect is in the 'school of Mary' and turning to her Immaculate Heart for she is mother of all who love Jesus. We, my friends are part of the Army of Mary that she is drawing together to train - many millions have responded and are growing in holiness under her instruction. Now is the hour of Grace, now is the time to respond because it will be too late when the secrets are revealed. Trust draws down mighty graces so let us trust God with all our hearts, minds and souls for the situations we find ourselves in - offer all things to Him as a sweet sacrifice and in return receive a hundred-fold. And above all love - love always love, love sacrificially without counting the cost, love unconditionally, give of yourself to the other as Jesus gave himself to us on the cross - only with love will the world be saved.
