Saints Who Battled Satan

Well at the time of this demonic attack St Martin was sharing his room with a guy called who Francis de la Torre who was a miltary officer. The solddier slept at the back of the room, which was seperated by an alcove. He heard the door open and Martin talking very sharply to someone , which was very unlike the gentle saint.

'Why have you come here you troblemaker? What are you looking for? This is not your room. Get out!'

There was a hellish commotion as though there a crowd of demons. When the poor soldier peeped out of the alcove he saw the unfortunate Martin getting flung about the place by invisible hands. Then the room and its furnishings burst into flame. Francis with the help of Brother Martin managed to put them out.

The demons left suddenly and the two went to sleep.

Nest morning when he checked the amazed soldier found no evidence of any flames.

I wonder if he continued to share St Martin's room?

The book doesn't say.
