Does anyone know if the pope is planning to visit Russia?

    God bless you, themilitantcatholic!

I keep an ear open for this, too. There was much chatter about the possibility when Kril became Patriarch of Russia; nothing since. My understanding is that there is more resistance to the idea from the Orthodox than from Rome. The meeting of those two will be a prophetic signpost.

Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

The latest that I read was that the pope plans to visit Mexico and Cuba before Easter, which will be great, yet I hope to see a pope visit Russia within my lifetime.

There is always the possibility that it might be a different pope to visit Russia. Our dear Papa is getting very tired.

Poor Benedict XVI needs our prayers - he will be 85 in April - God Bless him for having the courage to go to Mexico and Cuba - may our Lady of Guadalupe sustain him and protect him on his visits. I cannot see Benedict visiting Russia - must be the next Pope! Joey Lomangino turns 80 this year. Surely the warning will come within the next 5 years? Therefore, a Pope will visit Russia within the next 5 years and things will surely be at their worst and the world will need the Warning.

Correction - I think Joey was born 1931 - that meand he will turn 81 this year.

I have always felt he wold receive his sight before he was 85 so that gives us to 2016 for the Warning :D :D

Joey is Italian and an Italian filled with the Holy Spirit which means he could have "great" longevity. But I too think the time is growing much much closer, something just on the horizon. Sometimes the feeling is that it's on the doorstep but I believe it's not quite here yet. Good thing really, it gives us more time to surrender ourselves to the workings of the Holy Spirit.

"It gives us more time to surrender ourselves to the workings of the Holy Spirit." What a comforting and profound statement Lee. Sometimes it seems like I will never have enough time to be prepared. It's good to know I am not alone in needing lots more prayer time to pave my path.

I really hope Jesus will come soon, at least the warning happens soon... the world needs to see the absolute reality of God... it's been too long, people get disillusioned the longer it takes... but yet, I somewhat agree with Lee that it is 'not quite here yet'... just a feeling...
