Boom! And so it begins. Over 70 Faith Leaders endorse Pro-Life Catholic Governor Ron De Santis, as he begins his Faith and Freedom Coalition. As I mentioned earlier, many Evangelicals are supporting De Santis because of his Conservative Christian Record; but, good to see many Catholics too.

During COVID, leftist bureaucrats closed churches and tried to keep us from worshiping, but Ron DeSantis stood against the current and defended religious liberty. That’s why I’m proud to support DeSantis for President and to join his national faith and family coalition,” Pastor Andrew Hemingway of Hill Village Bible Church in New Hampshire said in a statement.

Polling shows DeSantis currently in second place in the GOP presidential primary behind former President Donald Trump. He has been traveling across the country since his announcement.

“Not all politicians say the right things, but I have found Ron DeSantis to articulate the policies I believe in. He is committed to fighting for the unborn, opposing woke ideology, protecting free speech, advocating for school choice and limiting big government. While he does not just say the right things, he has a proven track record of doing the right things. This is why I am proud to support his run for presidency by joining the national faith and family coalition,” Pastor Michael Jones of Oakwood Baptist Church in South Carolina stated."

Musician Bryson Gray is here to talk about Trump’s flip flop on the issue of abortion.
The Pro-Life agenda is not optional.
We will not abandon our principles and allow the murder of babies.
Trump’s comments are a complete mockery of the Christian faith.
Trump is retreating to his old New York Democrat ways on the issue of abortion.
Trump is taking the pro-life vote for granted because he changed the SCOTUS makeup which ended RoeVWade.
That being said, there is a spirit of idolatry surrounding Donald Trump.
Some Trump supporters think he can do no wrong.
President Trump needs to humble himself before the Lord and repent.

I’m not excusing what Trump said, but he may have been speaking as a strategist. The abortion issue is the main issue moderates don’t want to deal with. Maybe Trump was appealing to them, as well as, telling Republicans we can’t ride with this issue and win in the general election.

By flipping on the issue of abortion Trump has shot himself on the foot. He is finished politically in my opinion.

God may have used him for a season but his time is up.

Trump trying to win the middle ground when their is no middle ground. He will fail.

Maybe I don't have the right to give an opinion on this because I'm not American, but I think Trump could act as a moderate by relaxing the issue of immigration and trying to attract these people who seek a better life in America to the pro-life cause. The sacred scriptures at least speak of welcoming immigrants.

True. But at the same time you can't flip flop on the issue that brought so much ardent support to your candidacy. I fear he won't gain moderates and he will lose those of us who admired his courageous pro life stance.

Trump in Trouble? Shocking New Poll Shows 79% of Iowa Republicans Considering Other Candidates

"According to a recent CBS News/YouGov survey conducted in Iowa and New Hampshire between September 15-24, it appears that the former President's position in the Republican presidential primary is not as secure as previously thought.

In Iowa, only 20% of voters are considering voting exclusively for Trump, while a significant 48% are weighing their options between him and other candidates.

Shockingly, 31% of voters in Iowa have already ruled out voting for the former commander-in-chief altogether. This means that a staggering 79% of the electorate is either open to other candidates or committed to voting for someone other than Trump."

Breaking: DeSantis Says He Would Sign a 15-Week Abortion Ban as President

I predict that if/when Governor DeSantis becomes President DeSantis, he will sign (1) a 15 week Abortion Ban in his first term (2) a 6 week abortion ban in his 2nd term (just like he won re-election by 20 points in Florida, than signed a 6 week ban), then (3) perhaps a Complete Ban before he leaves office. The Courts, which by that time of a 8 year DeSantis Presidency could probably see as many as 4 more Supreme Court Justices, will let it stand.

God has heard and answered 50 years of Pro-Life Prayers, Sacrifices, Tears and Vigils. God Bless every one who prayed against and fought Abortion, or Abortionist Infanticide, rather.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/28/us/politics/desantis-abortion-trump.html

"In the chaos of Wednesday night’s noisy Republican presidential debate, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina interrupted Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida to pose a question on abortion that Mr. DeSantis had dodged directly answering for months.

Would the Florida governor sign a “15-week limit” on abortion as president, Mr. Scott asked, talking over both Mr. DeSantis and Dana Perino, one of the moderators, in a way that made his full remarks difficult to hear.

“Yes, I will,” Mr. DeSantis replied.

The moment — which largely escaped attention in real time but was noted by The Daily Signal, a news website published by the conservative Heritage Foundation think tank — clarifies Mr. DeSantis’s position on abortion, an issue that has split the Republican primary field. Mr. DeSantis signed a six-week abortion ban in Florida this year, but had not clearly committed to supporting federal legislation restricting the termination of pregnancies."

And when Devout Pro-Life Evangelical Christians, after being scandalized by horrible Pro-Abort so-called fake Catholics like Biden and Pelosi, see what real traditional and faithful Pro-Life, Pro-Marriage, Pro-Family Catholics look like, and do, for the Common Good, and the Cause of Life, they will fall in love with the Catholic Church. The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, now that Russia is consecrated, is beginning and the signs are clear. Many contingencies still rest upon our prayers and efforts, but the Cause of Life is the Cause of Our Lady, and Her Divine Son, and they will see it through.

Let's Pray the Rosary of the Unborn to end Abortionist Infanticide:

  17. Holy love is not something I would ever follow , no matter the words. As of 2011 it has been put down on by the Bishop.

Well, that's another topic, but the Rosary of the Unborn as a particular devotion (apart from holy love) does have this endorsement from a Bishop:

"This Rosary of The Unborn has nothing in it against Church teaching, it promotes praying for the unborn, it unborn, it places clearly in the mind of the person praying, exactly what he is praying for. The power of the Rosary is well documented and so with this Rosary of The Unborn it deserves to be given recognition, the recognition it deserves.
I give recognition to this Rosary of The Unborn as of special importance in the world today in the fight against abortion."

    From the above link, continued;

Dr. Michael Russell, (1920-2009), Retired Bishop of Waterford & Lismore, Ireland
During the 50th Eucharistic Congress Dublin Ireland 2012, Cardinal Ouellet, The Papal Legate (Pope’s Representative) on visiting the Holy Love Information Stand at the Congress and on being shown the Crystal Rosary and the work being done in the spreading of Rosary of the Unborn said: “This is wonderful work, you must keep this Mission going, keep going with this Mission.”

Sr. Briege McKenna said: “I have this Rosary and I pray on it.”

Cardinal Napier, South Africa, said: “This is wonderful we need to get these Rosaries to South Africa.”

Archbishop Martin, Dublin said: “You are getting people to pray on The Rosary of the Unborn.”

Fr. Donal O’Reilly from Victoria, Canada said: “Wonderful! We must get these to Canada and for those who pray on The Rosary of the Unborn they become Disciples of The Unborn.”

Anyway, back to the topic. After DeSantis' commitment to sign a 15 week ban, Pro-Life Catholic Marjorie Dannenfelser of SBA commended Governor DeSantis. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/des...national-abortion-ban-time/story?id=103582768

"In an easily missed moment during Wednesday night’s chaotic GOP presidential primary debate, Gov. Ron DeSantis said he would sign a federal 15-week abortion ban.

Wednesday's comment marked the first time since the launch of his presidential campaign that he said he would sign a national abortion ban.

The Daily Signal was the first to report and confirmed the governor's remarks.

The moment occurred during an exchange with Sen. Tim Scott, where he asked the governor if he would support a 15-week abortion ban. DeSantis said yes.

The moment was widely missed due to the moderators talking over the pair while the exchange was happening, trying to regain control of the debate.

    ...

DeSantis’ comments in Wednesday's debate elicited a statement from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser, who applauded DeSantis’ agreement to support a 15-week abortion ban.

“We thank Governor Ron DeSantis for his commitment to support minimum federal protections for babies in the womb when they feel pain by 15 weeks, while keeping states free to be as ambitious as possible for life,” Dannenfelser said in a statement."

Without a bare minimum protection such as a 15 week ban, you'll still have liberal pro-abort states supporting abortion up to the moment of birth.
