Our brother in Christ has not long and is in a lot of pain.. Oh lord hear my prayer Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, assist me in my last agony. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, may I breathe forth my soul in peace with you. Amen. Lord of Compassion, we plead for our beloved friend Brendan, who is in their final illness. Knowing that this disease is often painful at the end, we cry out for mercy, that You would grant them a pain-free passing from this world. May they be blessed by peace and comfort until the end comes, with no physical suffering. May they know they are surrounded by Your angels and that death is swallowed up in victory. Amen.
I have just received news that someone will be visiting Brendan at 11am this morning to bless him with the true oil of St Charbel the person blessing Brendan has asked for your intercessory prayers. When I got the message I was filled with an enormous sense of shame and embarrassment before God, I heard the words "did I not raise Lazarus", "remember what I taught you about a mustard seed." Oh sweet Father in heaven forgive my weakness in faith I have indeed become complacent and have assigned Brendan to a peaceful death, I believe in you and I trust in you, should it be your will that Brendan is totally cured I beg your forgiveness in my doubts. John 21:22 Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow Me!”
