Praying for him too: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on Brendan and on the whole world. May St Michael and Our Lady intercede to keep the evil spirits away from Brendan in his last moments so that he may embrace Jesus. Also, this prayer just came to mind for him: Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, save Brendan and save the whole world. (according to Fr Jim Blount it's very powerful to drive evil away and bring the Holy Spirit)
Wow this gave me goosebumps...You could not of known that Brendan built a grotto to Our Lady with his bare hands at the site of Fr Peytons 1954 Rossary crusade in Belfast.
You could be right Padraig I received the message second hand it could well be that the person who passed it on to me got it wrong or added to it, I must speak with the person directly, I've never met them but they have crossed my path once or twice. However rejecting Christ in the sacraments is never a good idea
No, the Sacrament of Extreme Unction is so important. To die just after receiving the Eucharist, in a State of grace would be a dream boat
You are giving me goosebumps. Wow. I am praying that this is a confirmation that Our Lady "is on the case".
Thanks Padraig you were 100% correct on this..The Person definitely did not say that Brendan would be lost , the person relaying the message thought or felt thats what they meant.. to be crystal clear the message was quite simple....Brendan is very ill and will die please tell him he must receive Jesus immediately.
At least it has been clarified. I just offered my chaplet of Divine Mercy for Brendan to receive the Last Rites soon. I am also going to pray for you and your family since you are going through this sad and uncertain time as well.
MO Mother, behold the extreme peril of thy child. Mother who canst do all things, have pity on him. Virgo potens, ora Pro nobis. Three Ave Maria's.
Time is slipping away..Brendan is very ill...watch and pray.. As you set out on this last great journey, this last which is first, may your spirit be free from all that would impede you. May memory fill your mind with gladness and gratitude for all that your life has been, all that you have known and loved, and all that life has given you of love. Let the immeasurable mercy and generosity of God heal your heart of any guilt or pain that lingers, and may Mary and the saints show you the path of fearless trust to help you on your journey. Have courage, soul, a great and hospitable home is there for you. The Love of all love waits to greet you.
