    Day Three.

    Time goes so quickly.

They have a big piece on Spirit Daily about the late Sister Sasagawa.

    https://spiritdailyblog.com/apparitions/50306

Another prophesy from Akita that has been buried.

'Like the first Judas the last Pope will betray Christ to Satan therefore the era of the antiChrist will soon come.'

According to the prophecies of St Malchy, Papa Frankie is the Last Pope.

But what does it mean last Pope. I think it means no more Pope as we have known them. Future Popeswill wind up martryed, imprisoned tortured every hidden and small. Like the first Popes.

By last Pope is meant no more grand, big Popes.

I see the devil's have gone ahead with cremating Sister Sasagawa's body .

I think they got embarrassed with the body parts thing so this was second option.

Been thinking about this a lot, especially given the Mass readings of late and how Sunday's Mass reading was chopped off for most of us.

Imho, St. Paul's letters were mainly directed toward the priests of his day, his brethren for whom he was, as an apostle (bishop), responsible. As a married laywoman, they don't really apply to me as when Paul is teaching, he's advising his brethren what & why to preach and how to act . Should I cover my head while in Church? I believe so.....But the members of the "royal priesthood of the baptized" don't agree. Should I read at Mass? Unless there are no men, I don't think so but the members of the "royal priesthood of the baptized" disagree. Should I serve Mass for the priest? No, but again, the members of the "royal priesthood of the baptized" disagree. I could go on and on, but I won't, lol. So many laypeople put themselves on the same footing as a priest, and sadly, many priests don't see the harm in this ~ harm to their own vocations as well as harm to others in that they believe they, too, are on equal footing with "priests". The true distinction between the sacramental priesthood, Holy Orders, and the "royal priesthood of the baptized" has been blurred. Same with Holy Matrimony in regard to the husband and wife, which is why most of us got the "chopped" version of that reading this past weekend.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the sister had kept, secretly an account of her visions and an account of her life and it is hidden away?

Would it not be even more wonderful if this hidden manuscript was uncovered and published for all the world to rejoice in and wonder at. Thus the plans of the wicked would be confounded

Please God let it be so .

The Epistle reading from last Sunday, at least in the USA, enables either a long or short version. I do believe the shorter version was allowed in the first place because of embarrassment over the concept of subordination (influenced by feminism). But actually the full text shines forth the necessity of mutual subordination: Here is the beginning of that passage:

Be subordinate to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord.
For the husband is head of his wife
just as Christ is head of the church,
he himself the savior of the body.
As the church is subordinate to Christ,
so wives should be subordinate to their husbands in everything.
    Husbands, love your wives,
even as Christ loved the church
and handed himself over for her to sanctify her...

Since I was scheduled to preach this past Sunday, I instructed the lectors to proclaim the longer version. Why? Because Paul commands (not suggests) a mutual subordination. Yes, much is demanded of wives, not a token, but a full subordination. And if Paul ended the discussion at that point, he would have been in line with the Roman culture of his day. But he does not because he speaks the mind of Christ.

What reveals the Heart of Christ in this instruction toward wives is what follows: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and handed himself over for her to sanctify her...

Wives are instructed to be subordinate, but husbands are instructed to lay down their preferences, their whims, and actually offer their lives on behalf of their spouses, following Christ's example of going to the Cross.

Is this carried out perfectly in Catholic marriages today? I try but fall short and all this will reverberate at my personal judgement. But at least I tried to convey it to those attending last Sunday.

Lord have mercy on our failures.

Husbands have the bigger obligation in this. Christ died on the cross for the church, men are supposed to sacrifice their lives for their families. I mean, it's not a dreary sacrifice either, it's what we are made for. God always provides and loves.

I love how in that article when the growth in Sr. Sasagawa's throat was healed, the priest immediately prophecied it would be healed in two days. When he prayed he said twice, ‘Go away, evil spirits of disease!’. That there were also two demons attacking her. After the healing she immediately asked for water. It's so beautiful and rich. God is so good, praise be to God.

    Day Four

There is actively description of the Holy Spirit in Scripture, 'Delighting in the company of men's. How beautiful. So in doing this Novena we are asking the Holy Spirit to come down to Earth and dance with us. But the Holy Spirit in such a Jack in the Box so who knows what kind of dance it will be for each of us?

But it will be a dance , which is always fun and as He delights in our company we also shall delight in His.

Lord of the Dance , lead on!

    Proverbs 8:30-31
    I was with him forming all things: and was delighted every day, playing before him at all times;
Playing in the world: and my delights were to be with the children of men.

This is very inspiring. Reminds me of little children at the beach, the waves gently rolling in one after another while the kids squeal with delight, playing in the water. The Holy Spirit dancing in the waves but also in the hearts of the children.

This reminded me of WB Yeats' poem, 'To a child dancing in the Wind', inspired by Maud Gonne's daughter Iseult, although in this case while WB Yeats recognised the mystical character of this innocence, it is tinged with an altogether darker realisation. I do not want to divert from the light coming from the Holy Spirit in this thread so I don't even won't even go there. And this in turn reminds me of Our Lady's promise to Fr. Gobbi: She says that many of her sons have lost their innocence, but that "They must not be discouraged, these sons of mine. I myself will clothe them with my purity, giving them back their innocence. My innocence will be theirs, and as the fruit of my special predilection, they will be made like me, Immaculate". Day Five.

I have never been much of a one for novenas I admit but this one reminds me of a journey a pilgrimage .

I love counting blessings. Have I learnt anything so far? Well one thing I have learnt is that what Catholic Prophecy (and Orthodox/ancient as well) is true .

And what is this., Well it is the same story as that which is told in the Old Testament over and over and over again. The Chisen people are called by God. They forsake Him, are stricken , return to Him and the whole cycle starts over again.

The difference this time round is our Apostasy is against Jesus and the stricken part is going to be totally gi gantic

I think we can get a little lost in all the numerous Marian apparitions. But what Our Lady has been saying is very simple. We need to get ourselves right with God. or else

    Day Six.

I recieved a message from a very saintly lady which mentioned some of the huge Crosses she is bearing at the moment. Incredible suffering and burdens .

I pray for her but wish I could do more.

One thing really helped me at times in the past was to see things from God's perspective, in other words to see that this suffering had meaning and purpose, in other words it was not random.

Another comfort is that suffering passes. Joy in the Lord is a constant .

I was reading last night once again the account of Our Lady's apparitions in the Rue Du Bac. So many times reading different accounts down the years and still there were things I discovered I never knew before.

For instance St Catherine Laboure was 31 years old at the time, so no child. Also she appears to have been already very saintly at the time.

Also when Our Lady came they talked for a whole two hours and a lot of it concerned Catherine herself. Imagine talking to the Queen of Heaven for two whole hours!!
