Sorry, one last post. Excellent piece by Fr Gruner, except he has not explained one alternative, that Russia's errors have already spread and the west is now communist. I have no doubt that God will use Russia as an instrument of chastisement against the west because the west "salt has lost its taste." I do not know if this chastisement is a good or bad thing but I believe the west deserves it. Annihilation of nations is coming if it is God's will, so be it. We were given graces and have squandered them and the good Lord has given us a peace plan thru the Blessed Mother and we can't even execute that. It has not been discussed here, but without doubt I feel the Asian jet liner that we hijacked by the pilots is on a runway in some rouge country being loaded with nukes. Nothing else makes sense. It is way for a wayward country to send its nukes to hit a specific target. If this be the case, it could start a huge global war and trigger the collapse of economies, societies and government beyond our comprehension.
True, it hasn't been discussed, I think because we all fear the answer or, at least I do. I agree tha there is something bizzare and sinister behind such a mysterious disappearance.
I also believe we will see that plane again...and it won't be on the bottom of the ocean where they re currently looking for it. I believe it landed on a runway somewhere and will be used for very evil purposes. For the record, I did start a thread on that plane but it never got many responses.

What is not well known and not much talked about is that what Antonio Ruffini actually said was that the successor (as Pontiff) to Pope Benedict would consecrate Russia during a great World War. Now why would Pope Francis want to Consecrate Russia during, a 'great war? Why because Russia would be central or the instigator of that war, I suspect. Perhaps an act of pure desperation? A recognisation that the Third Secret of Fatima is Coming to pass? It just seems logical to me to suppose so.

Note that as well as a war, Antonio mentions a , 'Persecution of the Church' This fits well in with other prophecies such as Garabandal and Sister Aeillio, . ..which point to a Russian invasion of Italy and the Pope having to flee.
Wow, I have been saying to my wife that the search for the plane is a red flag, one minute there is a signal, then they have lost it, nonesense. I agree with all of your sentiments, something big and bad is on the horizon, the lesser tribulation which will prepare us for the warning. I think this is why Pope Francis has been a merciful Pope, he knows what's coming. I am having terrible dreams this week of not being able to make contact with my children because the communication systems are all down, which would happen if there was war. Padraig. What we do know, from credible prophecy, is that whatever it is that kick starts the global conflict, it will come very quickly to the whole world. Then the global societies will be enveloped in a conflict, suffering and depression that will not end till the great Warning. Yes, we need to educate our families, because even though they may not accept what we have revealed to them now, at least they will know when they experience it that it had been foretold to them.
All that I can say here reading both this thread and the one on the tetrad of blood moons is that everything certainly does seem to be coming together in a way that is extremely sobering. So ... a few thoughts on the current situation (wasn't sure which thread to put these in): i) The quote from Antonio Ruffini makes a great deal of sense in the present context and doesn't seem to contradict any of the more solid private revelation - either the prophecies of Garabandal nor more recent material, including the interpretation of the status of the Consecration found in the messages to Verne Dagenais (I'm bracketing 'Locutions to the World' out of the picture for the moment: what I'm saying here isn't dependent on LTTW). Furthermore, a high degree of caution towards the current Russian leadership is also supported by some non-Catholic prophetic voices who IMHO deserve to be taken seriously, not least because they have been led to an understanding of the real Eucharistic Presence: Neville Johnson (who very pointedly said last August 'Don't trust Russia - they are not your friend') and John Paul Jackson (who was predicting years ago that Putin would try to resurrect the Soviet Union in a new form and would threaten first the Ukraine and then the former Eastern Bloc nations by blackmailing them in terms of energy supplies: JPJ apparently was in contact personally with the Ukrainian authorities about this). ii) The enthusiasm towards Vladimir Putin's statements about 'Christian values' that I continue to read with great surprise in various places is partly based on a well-intentioned but IMHO premature application of (authentic, I'm convinced) prophecies regarding a Russian religious revival. Here I would simply appeal to logical consistency, especially to anyone who is working off Vassula Ryden/True Life in God; given that TLIG affirms Garabandal (specifically and at considerable length), the logical consequence is that the Garabandal prophecies concerning Russia also have to be taken as authentic, which not only means the Russian attack but also the conversion of Russia AFTER the miracle which is implied by Conchita's locution received July 20, 1963. I suppose that it could be objected that the Garabandal predictions have been rendered at least partially obsolete by events in intervening years, but saying this would lead us into a complex discussion on the nature of conditionality concerning prophecy / the role of intercessory prayer in modifying the course of history. Personally, the mere fact that we now seem to be witnessing the time when 'Communism comes AGAIN' not only with respect to the ex-Soviet Union but also the resurgence of China and militant secularism in the West inclines me to take the words of Garabandal more or less at face value. Additionally, it is surely significant that within the Ukraine, an ecumenical consensus against Kremlin policy has emerged in recent weeks, which not only includes Catholics and the Kiev Orthodox Patriarchate but even the Ukrainian branch of the Moscow Orthodox Patriarchate itself. iii) Concerning the Four Blood Moons (plus the full solar eclipse on Nisan 1 in 2015), obviously we are only going to find out whether they have any prophetic meaning after the event: unless some highly-respected prophetic source endorses them in the meantime on the basis of revelation, not interpretation. However, the timing is extremely striking, as is the fact that this will be the only coincidence of a blood moon tetrad with the Jewish festivals of Passover and Tabernacles this century. I wouldn't accord too much weight either for or against to the role of John Hagee in spreading this idea, as it originated with Messianic Jew Mark Blitz in 2008, whose arguments in favour of taking the Hebrew calendar seriously concerning Biblical prophecy I find both detailed and cogent. It should after all be acknowledged that this is not merely speculative exegesis, but that a plain reading of texts such as Joel 2:31 suggests that looking to the skies for prophetic signs is encouraged by the Sciptures themselves. What gives particular pause for thought is the convergence between Blitz's findings and those of Jonathan Cahn's remarkable, unclassifiable The Harbinger. Both point to September 2015 as the key date - Blitz because of the scheduled occurence of a 'Super Blood Moon' which will (unlike the other lunar eclipses) be visible in Israel, Cahn because it follows the Biblical 'Shemittah' pattern of debt release that he correlates with the economic crashes of Fall 2001 and 2008. Further evidence that 2015 should be contemplated with great seriousness can be found in some other sources, notably R. Loren Sandford (a pastor with American First Nation roots, son of John and Paula Sandford, highly respected 'elder statespersons' in charismatic circles), who had a vision in May 2010 that the Church was being given a five-year window to prepare spiritually before the arrival of truly grave events. At the time he emphasized that he didn't know whether this '5' was a literal or symbolic number, but that was four years ago now ... Loren Sandford, who together with his father John Sandford and John Paul Jackson was one of the figures behind the recent drafting of the document 'Biblical Principles regarding Ethics and Protocols for New Testament Prophetic Ministry' intended to improve standards of accountability with regard to prophecy, has often ministered in the Ukraine and currently appears very concerned at the situation.
I admire you for reading Protestant Prophecy, Peter. I can hardly find the time to keep up with Catholic Prophecy. Its true things seem to be coming together, I wonder about other Faiths, the Jews, Islam and so on, if they are getting the same thing.? I heard tonight about a meeting of Russian Special Forces in the Ukraine, Agents and army and so on. The meeting was bugged and apparently they greeted each other with the Orthodox Easter Greeting, a religious blessing. This made me very,very sad. They are leading us into war and believe they do so with the blessings of God. Awful. But of course men have always believed God was on their side no matter how many they kill. It has been the same all through history. What fools we are.
I can't remember if I mentioned this or not on the forum but I will again just in case. A few weeks ago I had a very real and very terrible dream. I was standing on mountain with someone (possibly and angel but can't recall now) overlooking the New York City skyline. Then I saw a streak of light coming over the city and what followed was the blast of light and oh so familiar mushroom cloud. I then remember being away from the city trying to tell everyone what was going on. I was telling them that Obama had sold our country to the Russians and Chinese and allowed this attack to occur to start the take over of the US. No one would believe me. I remember then that I needed to hurry and get back home and then I woke up. I never have dreams like this. It really troubles me because I will be in NYC the first week of May for work. God help us if this is true.
