There is no better path than living in the Divine Will. It's not even a devotion - it is a mindful attentiveness to asking Jesus to do everything in us, so that I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. Luisa's writings just give practical helps to doing what we are all called to do. St. Hannibal Di Francia, Luisa's confessor and publisher of the first volumes of her work, was proclaimed a Saint by John Paul II on May 16, 2004. I encourage anyone who has a negative opinion about this way of life to read more about it. But if you are not inclined to learn more about it, then I think it would be better to keep silent than to disparage what I believe is the greatest help the Lord has given us in these dark times.

Don't know anything about Luisa or her writings but I have been trying to live in the Divine Will of God for the last ten years since he kicked my behind!! 'Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven'. We pray the our Father every day for the Divine will of God to be done. Cannot for the life see why Catholics would not want to live in the Divine Will of God?

garabandal, yes! You get it! It is not a person (Luisa and her writings) that are in question, it is exactly as you say in doing His will on earth as it is in heaven. She was just one person God used to spread this truth and live it.
Frodo, living in the Divine Will is not a 'devotion' it is a way of life. Living in the Divine Will is quite the opposite of relying on ones own self, it is giving everything over to God.... even our discernment through prayerful contemplative habits, where the Holy Spirit gives understanding.
As Conchita said this: "When Russia will unexpectedly and suddenly overrun and overwhelm a great part of the free world", I suppose this has to be taken as a prophetic message and therefore cannot be changed anymore by our prayers (?). In this case, we can stop hoping that Putin has good intentions.... Or am I wrong, Glenn ?
A most interesting question Elisa. While other prophecy are conditional , Garabandal is 'fixed' no matter what . How does this sit with others ?
I think all prophecy is conditional but God knows the future with absolute certainty. When the Garabandal events began in 1961 the message was the 'cup was filling up' and by the time they finished in 1965 'the cup was overflowing'. And the world continues on the road to perdition. There is no sign of repentance rather hearts have hardened and the world is worse than the time of Noah when the world was purified by water. In these days God has sent a Mother, the Blessed Virgin, to call us back - who is listening and responding? Since the world is not responding then there will be another purification but this time by fire. We have been warned. With Garabandal ,the Chastisement is conditional, if man responds to the warning and miracle. The miracle date is not conditional.It is fixed. Thus rejecting Fatima, and while more gloom was being given in Garabandal. Time will tell.
This time of mercy will not last forever. I am afraid I sound like and Old Testament prophet of doom and see very little light especially in the western world. Darkness has come to reign. Sin is justified and promoted as a right. Good is called evil and evil is called good. There has been no time in history like this. I am afraid we have come to accept sin far too readily because the 'loss of the sense of sin' is the great tragedy of the last one hundred years. If sin is justified then what chance the little ones? Our Godless civilization has abandoned its Christian heritage and embraced paganism. The sin of abortion alone calls for the justice of God. This human sacrifice on an unprecedented scale in the last forty years is none other than a blood sacrifice of the innocents who have no voice. This silent holocaust masked as reproductive rights is carried out on an industrial scale throughout the world and here I am only mentioning surgical abortions. On top of this are the pharmaceutical abortifacient drugs that induce abortion at an earlier stage and we have an attack on the very foundations of human life in what John Paul II called the culture of death. And of course this is directly linked to sexual sins and impurity which is promoted by the mainstream media as propaganda. The attack on marriage and family has led to the very undermining of the fabric of society. What's just happened today is worrying me more than what happened in crimea. The same mysyerious appearance of well trained, well armed, unidentified and unidentifiable 'local defense forces' dismembering a nation. Shocking.
