In an article I read, the man who started the fire was aged 39, and was employed as a security guard at the Cathedral. He had come from Rwanda 7 years previously. I never know what to believe these days.

my comment is that I'm glad Portland is doing this. The biometricupdate website is pro biometric, but it gives an overview of the technology that is being peddled throughout the world to track people.

Honestly, I think the church actively works to discourage prophecy or examining Scripture in the light of history or current events. I can't blame them -- years ago I ran across a web site that listed every end-times heresy and predicted end date since the first century. Up until the 1500s there was literally one end date or movement every 35 years! After 1500 the explosion of protestants made such lists impossible to follow.

So we have ceeded this territory to the Evangelicals. We'll need to read those sources and filter them through Catholic doctrine to get a better idea of what is down the road.
