    Enough said.

  2. Well, there can't really be a comparison as yet since there has been no opening for such "proper" steps to go into action. So you can't judge as yet. But with an already verified occurrence made by the medical community within its history that evidence would have to go into the record in any future, actual examination...thus, having more in its favor than others without such backing Just simple logic. The Church doesn't separate Faith from reason....as declared Pope JPII. If the Church would not use such evidence when available for an examination then it would be the Church's own established procedures that would be amiss.

  3. Another "holier than the Church" then?

  4. I believe that Fatima refers to the medical practitioner involved in the case. That type of information would be used IF it were to be examined by the Church as well.

Yes Fatima posted the letter from the doctor and the testimony of the woman. Cletus had the gift of healing. I am a doctor and I treat people who have eye diseses. But with my own eyes I saw some of these miracles and I can only say, God healed these people. When the woman who could not walk, threw away her crutches, and walked away on her own power, instead of with a wheelchair, there is nothing to stay. I witnessed a woman healed from a chronic health problem in my office, right in front of my eyes. I will give a testimony on this one. She was the patient and I was the doctor. God is still in the business of healing people. My friend’s father was dying of heart disease and was prayed over by Cletus and was cured in the hospital. Tonight I talked to my friend and 12 yrs later his father is doing great. I share these stories because I think it is important to realize we need to take God at his word, Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved for thou art my praise.

Also of interest is Matthew 27:51-54 talks about the how the bodies of the saints were raised after Jesus resurrection. Fascinating scripture.

  7. Um, Verne, you did realize that I was asking that question in regard to comment #271? And that due to the fact that Fatima had said that miracles associated with your revelation had been verified by a medical doctor.

Sorry, but the miracles have nothing to do with me to the book. The picture was my friend’s mission.

I believe miracles and healings take place every day.
But there is no point in bringing them up in regards to the GSWYL messages.
Espescially when they come from one of the messengers.

The church has a very high standard to approve a miracle.
It is so miracles and the church is not mocked and brought into disrepute.

This forum has promoted false messages and had false messengers in the past.

These miracles have nothing to do with this book. I am lucky to have seen these miracles to increase my faith.

    Indeed.
A pity the message from heaven missed that one.

I think Joey was actually told on the day of the miracle he would receive new eyes.
Has he received them already or does he have to wait, Lynn?

I've been at my daughters place in Sydney for over the last few days and I can't respond as I would I would like too.
But enough to say we are forgetting Our Lords words when we accept all and sundry.

Our lord told us to be careful.

Because many would try to deceive! Even with great miracles and other signs attached!

    We are to be prudent!

I will hopefully be able to respond in greater detail when back home and on my computer.
    God bless

As there is no time with God, it is my belief that Joey has already seen the miracle with his new eyes - as it is also said about Padre Pio who was told he would see the miracle. Fr. Cennamo told Conchita that he did not believe in the apparitions until Padre Pio told him to give Conchita the veil that would cover his face after his death. Conchita questioned Fr. Cennamo about how it would be that Padre Pio would see the miracle as he had already died. Fr. Cennamo told her that he saw the miracle before he died. His words to Conchita were, “He told me so himself.” (From an article in Needles, - Conchita Speaks of Padre Pio - spring, 1975). Could this not have happened also to Joey? I certainly think so.

Did a search of the messages, here is the first one:

    1) "My son, at baptism all my children receive sanctifying grace, but many do not progress beyond spiritual infancy. I will not lose any the Father has given to me. My spiritual babies will come home to be with me to prevent the loss of their souls."

    Matthew 7:21

Not everyone who says to me "Lord, Lord" shall enter the kingdom if heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Once saved always saved nonsense. Makes sense as to why these messages were not submitted to Church authority.

A good book to read, "Our Father" by Matthew Kelly. These were messages given to him by Our Heavenly Father and written in 1994. Many of you may kow of Matthew - he is a Catholic evangelist and has written many other books. Matthew says in this book, "...allow your Heavenly Father to speak to you, to guide you, to encourage you, to love you, to direct you, to correct you, to laugh with you, to cry with you, to comfort you, to walk with you, and to live with and in you." "May you hear the voice of your Father in Heaven in the lines of this book encouraging you to live the Christian life."

I recommend this book to everyone - especially those who do not believe that Our Heavenly Father speaks to us in our days. It is simple to read and the messages are loving - just as Our Father is. God bless all.

Frodo, you seem confused what this message is saying. It is not saying "once saved always saved". It is our Loving Father in heaven who all knowing, is telling us that there are many of his children here on earth that do not have a formed understanding of the faith, even though in his grace now and after the Waring, these faithful will not have the knowledge of the faith necessary to persevere in faith and His Will is to not loose any of them to the devil. He will bring them to heaven before the Antichrist and False Prophet deceives the world and many of those in the state of grace would have otherwise followed them. This is a loving merciful God. He does not want any of his children lost. He tells us this to provide comfort in knowing that we all will have family, relatives, friends and neighbors who will die in the natural disasters already in motion, nuclear bombs, plagues, as well as the many man-made evils here now and forthcoming. After the Warning the Antichrist and False Prophet come unto the scene, God too will chastise this sinful world and this will lead those who are "spiritual babies" to think God has abandoned them and they will run to what the Antichrist is offering, so as to have some means of living, buying and selling. Once a person understands this, one will see what our loving God is saying in the message you quoted that He wants none of his own lost.

No Fatima, it is not I who is confused. The message is short and self explanatory and does not need your "clarification."

It is a falsehood to believe that when one is baptised they become a spiritual baby and that we can be assured that God, not wanting anyone to go to hell, will make sure he takes the baptised in the state of Grace.

So much for thief in the night and keeping oil for our lamps.

That you do not see it is your own choice. But to spin this into being in line with Catholic teaching and leading others in the false teaching is what prompts me to post.

  19. God's "unfathomable Mercy". People like to choose only tidbits that serve their own egos .... and I should add, fears. Protestant bible thumpers (and others) seem to have this down to a kind of a program. Free will is a big hang up for many and yet that's what they will be judged on....just how developed and formed that defective will actually was. Don't stifle the Spirit or you may limit yourself, by your own will, of graces intended by the gracious God/Father. If you err in good faith and desire to become closer to God He has already given you the help even for that later realization. Too much cowardly fear will never allow for knowing more of the Mind of the Father....but Trust will.

Believe as you will. I have given the explanation for all who have understanding and for those that don't to pray about.
