Typical Mac. You can't and won't find one..... just one.... theological error in the writings of the book GSWYL and yet your holier than thou disposition will turn it on a man who like St. Paul and many saints at one time in the life were working against God's will and his Church. All I can say is repent Mac, as you have now become judge of souls and that is not your job, but God's. This I can tell you is antichrist when you work against God's messengers and at least Verne repented from his day's of evil.

No I have not. I met Cletus at her prayer group when we went out after the meetings. Jennifer has also pretty much stopped with her messages. On the internet you can still get an archive of Little Mary"s messages. Those were some powerful meetings with gather Reiser. My son was healed after she prayed for him at the meeting.

    Hey Mac,
Do you believe it is possible for someone to be delivered of their sin? I was not a catholic and did not know the truth. Jesus Christ delivered me from the occult. Do believe that God can save my soul? Mac, everyone without repentance can go to hell. All mortal sins unrepented send people to hell. St Paul killed christians, but God saved his soul and the rest is history. I do not know you or your motives but I just prayed for you, that God grants you peace.

    Please...

I tried to stay out of it but...

Mac was not condemning anyone. He pointed out the great concern one should have about reading, let alone promoting, messages given to someone who was active in the occult and did not go through a spiritual discernment process with a spiritual director.

Such disregard and, to be honest, flat-out hostility to traditional norms for discerning prophecy is baffling. This case has red flags on top of red flags, and when people point them out they are accused of antichrist? On what authority do you have that right to proclaim that? Certainly not the church's.

I guess since we are forgetting the bishop we can just ask you instead?

We are all supposed to be working for God's kingdom. To me it is nonsensical to continuing arguing regarding this. Actually Frodo, I have never met you nor have you ever met me. But I will disagree with you. Being in the occult or not is not a red flag. I have an advantage. I am more familiar with the tactics of evil and can differentiate between the two in my own personal life. But I do have a holy priest who counseled me when I first joined the Catholic Church and who I still turn to for spiritual guidance. Enough is enough! Why presume about me, when you do not have all the facts? I have tried to answer the questions asked. It is time for all of us to move on to more important items. Private revelation, agree or disagree, but I know how God has used these books to help people and I stand by them. No more needs to be said about this matter. God bless everyone.

You keep trying to turn this into somethin personal, I am talking about the discernment of private prophecy.

That you converted and used a spiritual director in your personal life is commendable. I am genuinely happy that you had a conversion process and utilized a priest spiritual director.

In discernment of Catholic prophecy however, it is indeed a red flag to have been a practitioner in the occult. It is also a red flag that these messeges were not submitted to the proper authority in the Church. Sorry, but this is not a matter up for debate.

That the book has been felt as being helpful to people's faith journey is irrelevant. Many people think that way about Martin Luther, Calvin, etc. Could it be a fruit, perhaps. But even bigger is the red flag that these messages were not submitted to the Church - the one established by God himself- who has authority - Christ given - in these matters.

One sentence of yours in unfortunate. "That the book has been felt as being helpful to people's faith journey is irrelevant." Pardon me, tell that to the 83 year old lady who read this book and repented and came back to God. One soul saved has made this book worth it all. That God would use this book to assist in her salvation has fulfilled the mission of this book. You can criticize all you want, but I Praise God for her and other's conversion through this book which God has used, in spite of my failings.

He was born with 1 testicle. The day before the surgery we took him to the specialist and they found a second testicle, where there was only 1 previously.

    I haven't judged anyone's soul.
I have been talking to you about what Fr Hardon would have made of these messages.
From his own rules of discernment I think he would have judged the whole matter as one of imprudence and deception.
What do I have to repent for exactly?

    Hey,
Let's share good news. We received a call that something bad was found on a my wife's mammogram. I prayed to St Philomena and to Our Blessed Mother.
I told her I would go to Fatima and pray the rosary, if my wife was healed. We went to the doctor and had additional testing and my wife was healed and is OK. Also, it has worked out with my job where I will be able to go to Fatima in the fall to thank Mary for her intercession.

Praise God Verne that your wife does not have breast cancer! I am a breast cancer survivor and a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Oncology (cancer). Being told that a mammogram is suspicious is very scary and a biopsy is the only way to confirm a cancer diagnosis. St. Philomena was my special Saint during that ordeal too! God is Great! Enjoy Fatima!

That's a wonderfully built straw man you have just knocked down.

It is irrelevant in determining if the messages are of true origin. BaySide, MDM, Charlie... the list goes on and on who have all cited "people" who have been edified by their messages. Doesn't neccesarily make it so or that the origins are Divine.

You failed to respond to any of my points, being an optometrist I believe you to be intelligent enough to know what they were and instead picked a line out of context to spin to your advantage. I'm disappointed in the response given.

No I did not. I believe those messages were from God and I stand on it. Besides I am not out to prove or disprove anything. Frodo you and I will agree to disagree on this point. But to something more interesting, I assume you may be a Lord of the rings fan. I myself am a whovian, but also like the Lord of the Rings.

  19. Vassula was shown three rods....one the Orthodox Church, one the Roman and one the Protestant. You might do some more investigating about this intention given to Vassula....since it was not and is not something that Vassula "believes"....it's what she was told. And I'm assuming that you are a priori looking at this unification of a date of Easter mission of Vassula, however it comes about, as too much for the Roman Church to give more on since you believe that this Church has already given much? That date would be a sign of the Church finally breathing with both lungs.

It has nothing to do with going towards Protestantism nor did I imply anything of the sort as has Vassula's mission on such things also never implied....just the opposite....since that is much of what the Orthodox Church's position has been so adamantly against. Once again, it's the rather man made type of institution of a Church that Fr. Martin spoke against as dying and losing its essence decades ago.

God's favour will be shown soon (TLIG Message)
Jun 2, 2015 ... your division has become a steep rock, unbending iron rods, with human laws and decrees, but the result now of your so many prayers, God's favour will be shown soon; from the House of the East and the West, I need great reparations and I am ready to pardon their mistakes; I need all arrogance to cease, ...

To Unite, You Must All Bend (TLIG Message)
Jan 12, 1988 ... Vassula, let Me help you; do you remember the vision of the three rods? upright and stiff? Yes I do, Lord. I remember. well then, to be able to unite all three have to bend; I never said that merely two should bend; Vassula, do you realise that I, your God, am in full plan for uniting you? I had in mind to ask You ...

The ultimate solution of this Quartodeciman controversy came with the Council of Nicea 325 a.d. Although no Canon resulted, a consensus was reached that, a) Easter should be on the Lord’s Day, b) that it should not depend on, or coincide with the Jewish lunar calculation of Passover; but yet have some reminder of the original connection. Hence Easter was to be celebrated on the Sunday following the first full moon after the Northern Hemisphere Spring equinox. This calculation was independent of Jewish reckoning and followed Alexandria’s practice with which Antioch had hitherto been in conflict. In Antioch the Jewish dating had been followed to determine the Sunday celebration.

Today’s division between Christian East and West on this matter results from the East refusing to accept the West’s unilateral action in adopting the Gregorian calendar, from the East’s tradition of never celebrating before the Passover and the differing manner of calculating the epact, which is the discrepancy between the lunar cycle and the solar cycle.

One of the favoured solutions to the problem is for a common fixed day for Easter comprising the Sunday following the second Saturday in April, which would be the most frequent day chosen if the Council of Nicea were to be literally followed with astronomical accuracy. Alternatively a moveable date could be fixed provided a particular geographical point, e.g., Jerusalem, for calculation of the Vernal equinox, could be selected.

    ..........
Vassula herself, Greek Orthodox, born in Egypt and currently living in Rome with her Swedish Lutheran husband, has through personal revelation repeatedly experienced and transmitted to the tens of thousands of the Roman Catholics and others to whom she speaks around the world, the present-day desire in Our Lord for a single common date for Easter.

Mrs Mirna Nazour is a Melchite Roman Catholic living in Damascus with her Orthodox husband and two children. Periodically, especially when the two Easters coincide, she has experienced the Stigmata which have been exhaustively photographed and filmed. In addition Mirna’s hands, and a couple of her ikons, exude copious quantities of pure and aromatic olive oil which has been associated with healings. The message she shares with believers around the world is that of John 17 above, an identical message to Vassula's.

Actually the thinking of the many divided churches here is much like what Our Lady of Medjugorje has spoken to about division of Christ's body....heaven did not will such or cause the division....but man has done so....and it's only through recognizing that her children include all people that such pride and stubbornness and division will ever end. Holiness of the individual comes in all shapes and sizes and types. Therefore it's not the pride filled intellectual arguments that will ever express the mind of the Father.

For they preach, but do not practice. They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger. They do all their deeds to be seen by others.
