He's not the head of BlackRock (I think that Larry Fink is the CEO). He's the head of their global think tank which means that whoever actually controls Blackrock trusts him to do their bidding.
Someone I watched recently (I can't remember who it was) suggested that they may have decided to write off Biden, letting him take the blame for all the bad decisions while prepping their new favourite (possibly Michele Obama) to succeed Trump. It's very possible that there will be an economic downturn in the US (almost certain in Europe), so it might suit them to let Trump take the wrap for that. People seem to believe that Trump will get deals done by wielding the big stick but I don't think the stick is as scary now as it was before Biden made such a dog's dinner of everything.
That makes sense... they could attribute the collapse of the Western world to a new rightward shift in the Western world.
American politics is fascinating at the moment. I can't get enough of it. I hope someday they make a film about all that is going on with this Election. I feel like I should be eating a big bag of popcorn watching. I can't help feeling that the Hand of God is involved in much of this. The same with politics in France. Breathtaking.
I have heard the pundits comparing Jill Biden to Edith Wilson who held the power in the White House after Wilson 's stroke. Power makes people irrational. She doesn't want to let go.
Some have mentioned the Clintons. But Obama could not stand them. Makes you realize Obama is behind the scenes. I think his “Trump card” is Michele. But if it is true what we hear about her it could complicate things A lot.
I wonder if Michelle possibly the president candidate and nominates Barack as her vice president candidate. That would keep him front and center.
This may be a mad thought but there are rumours of some big military movements in Europe. Joe Biden is in a bad place politically. I wonder if they are planning to up the game against Russia to bring him back some support ? I would guess the Bidens are terrified of Trump getting back in case he does something terrible to them. This must leave them pretty desperate.

It is time sensitive. If a vacancy were to occur close to the November election, it could raise constitutional and legal concerns. Even the ballots have to be printed well in advance of the election, and it might not be possible to change them in time.
