Trump cannot wave a wand and do what he desires since it must be Congress, again, to make noise and change things, challenge laws and SCOTUS is the ultimate venue to change this killing on the federal level. And that highest level for action is also what Trump is aiming at via his opportunities that will still arrive to appoint pro-life justices, example of which he has already shown this delivery of another of his promises. That will change the law at the federal level and push decisions on life back on the states themselves and THAT is where the people themselves will be put on the spot to decide their own fate as persons for life or for death. And such a moral question must be decided by each individual and not for some imaginary daddy superman leader who decides for all. Just the other day, I heard the Pentagon is asking for billions because we have very few bombs. I mean what is that all about? Well, to help explain to you what that "is all about", and that is the Obama regime's activity of obliterating our military along with our economy and moral/family foundations. He blocked any repair of our aging armaments with bills designed with no concern for this rotting of forces at a time when dangers in the world against us were mounting thanks to him. Well, it's getting to the point these days that entertainment has to be thoroughly vetted with the kids especially. Reviews even supposed Catholic reviews can not be trusted as I found out this weekend. We went to a drive in theater on Friday evening to see the Han Solo movie and also the new Avengers Infinity war and Han Solo was not bad, no overt occultism that I saw off hand and language was decent. Infinity war on the other hand was chock full of it from beginning to end. So badly that I won't make the mistake again of seeing any more of the Marvel movies. A little exchange from the movie; "Alright, let me ask you this one time. What Master do you serve?" "What Master do I serve? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?" The language was atrocious and the humor was completely in the gutter. Our kids are going to have to have some very thick skins and an incredible amount of Graces received from the Holy Spirit to survive these days with any Faith.

Whether he will or won’t remains to be seen. But it would be no great surprise if he does. For one thing, Justice Kennedy will turn 82 in July, making him the second oldest member of the court after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who’s 85. Kennedy has served on the court since 1988, and in recent years has had the satisfaction of being its swing voter, exercising the power to determine the outcome in numerous closely divided cases. If Kennedy does retire, there’s sure to be a protracted, unusually ugly struggle in the Senate over confirming a successor. President Trump is committed to naming a prolife justice, as he did last year with Justice Neil Gorsuch. Then it will be up to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY) to do all he can to get the successor confirmed before the November elections—that is, while Senate Republicans are still sure of a slim Senate majority. By the same token, it will be up to Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) and his Democrats to work to prevent a confirmation vote before the election. And then—who knows? If the Democrats are in charge in the post-election Senate, it will be payback time for the Merrick Garland episode, which saw the confirmation of Barack Obama’s last Supreme Court pick blocked by McConnell and the Republicans by the simple device of refusing to consider it. Getting back to Kennedy, he is commonly described in the media as a “conservative.” No doubt that is accurate enough on some matters, but where the social issues are concerned, Kennedy, a Catholic, has been anything but conservative, instead playing a key role in defending legalized abortion and conferring constitutional status on same-sex marriage. In 1992, in a case called Planned Parenthood v. Casey, Justice Kennedy, joined by Justices Sandra Day O’Connor and David Souter, delivered a plurality opinion that settled the question in favor of abortion. It contains a passage in Kennedy’s easily recognized philosopher-king style situating “at the heart of liberty…the right to define one’s own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life”—words which earned Kennedy’s text recognition in some quarters as the “Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life” opinion. In 2015, with authorial juices flowing again, Kennedy wrote the majority opinion for a sharply divided court in Obergefell v. Hodges, the case which discovered a previously unknown constitutional right to same-sex marriage. Until then the fight over this issue had gone on largely in state legislatures. Kennedy and the court’s four liberals removed the question from the hands of elected representatives of the people and imposed their answer on the nation as a whole. Don, I think that line was meant to be a joke but I believe that it went over like a lead balloon, thankfully. That's the only explanation that I can come up with for such a horrible line because the actor who said it is well known to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Personally, I wish that he refused to say it. I don't like the Avenger movies very much but this particular one was recommended to me and I still didn't like it very much. Richard, if the rightful consecration of Russia had been done, two obvious effects of that , as told to the Fatima seers, would have already taken place. 1) The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart over Satan 2) The Era of Peace Even a blind person can see that neither of these have taken place. To the contrary, the world has never had more sin, evil and apostasy then it does today. This is the exact opposite of what our Lady of Fatima said would take place via the consecration (not of the world), but heavens specific request of Russia. The 1984 consecration to the World was accepted by God, and it delayed the purification period that we have now entered into, but it failed short of fulfilling it. But, when it is done the whole world will know of God's desire to see our Lady of Fatima's victory over Satan. The whole world will live in the period of the Lord's Prayer, where his "will be done n earth as it in in heaven" and Revelations 19-20 will have been fulfilled. Much purification and suffering must take place before this era of peace comes.
