Excellent post, Julia. Yes, this was the moment for the Republicans to stand up for their constituency, and they mostly did not. We really need a party that will truly represent us.
I'm not thinking Biden/Harris associate with alot of prayerful people. Donald Trump has alot of Godly people praying for him.
I receive great peace when I am at adoration and enter into a kind of deeper prayer. I had the strangest flash in my mind Monday as I was nearing the end of my hour. It came out of nowhere. A scene from the movie version of the Scarlet Pimpernel. The evil Chauvin (an officer of the reign of terror) believes he has successfully executed Sir Percy and has won the whole battle --when he hears a chuckle and turns around horrified and there is Sir Percy big as life. Chauvelin realizes he has been tricked and he cries out "Why this elaborate charade? " And Percy says "I wouldn't dream of depriving you of your moment of triumph. Alas...a moment was all I could spare." I chuckled and asked the Lord if He was telling me something. No answer. But it was odd. I havent thought of that movie in years and years.

I’m not giving up that tiny thread of hope yet that something is going to change all this, even if the Ziden usurper is “inaugurated.” The Military knows if they permit this Marxist coup to succeed, the Marxist will purge the Military leadership first and foremost. I doubt the generals want to be purged, so there is still an inkling of hope. And Trump STILL has not said “Biden administration.” Even with today’s speech.
Biden is in power because the Bishops failed in their duty to be shepherds. He should be excommunicated and escorted physically out the door of the Church. It is such a scandal there are no words.

In my mind, if the generals are to act in a way to prevent absolute turmoil, then they will have to do so before Biden is sworn in; if not they would be insurrectionists and I would denounce such a move. If I recall correctly there was a large turnover in the military during the Obama presidency. I wouldn’t be surprised if the current generals think they are safe.
And in the Archdiocese of Washington DC the Cardinal has said that Biden will be able to receive Communion.

This could very well be. I think the most probable thing to happen tomorrow is nothing in particular. Uncle Joe will probably be sworn in as our next president without too much violence (though there will probably be at least some around the country), but there certainly are many other possible things as well. We must all remember that God has His plans which are perfect. He only allows or wills things that happen for our good - the primary good being the salvation of souls. And we often (usually) don't understand. We must have faith and trust in Him. He knows what He's about. Maybe we will understand more sometime in the future. Also, prayer never ever "goes to waste". "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
