Yes, we remain steadfast even as Christ is taken down from the cross. God the Father did not spare his son, our Lord death before victory. As his followers can we expect to be spared what our innocent master endured? Nothing is hidden in their lies that will not be revealed...even if it is after death, God's light is not delayed. My spiritual director's grandmother was a saintly woman who prayed for years and years for her husband to be converted...He lived a life not pleasing to God. She passed away before him, her husband unconverted. Years later, at his funeral a nurse was present and related that he had profound conversion towards the end of his life. He was a completely changed man before he died. We do not always see our prayers play out the way we want, but God never ignores them. His plans look beyond death. So if it seems dark, our Lord limp in His Mother's arms; look upon him with Mary's eyes...with eyes of faith, with hope that does not disappoint.

My best friend and I are also very upset about it. We are both utterly amazed that this is happening to your country. The fraud is so obvious and on such a large scale, yet they seem to be getting away with it. So hard not to feel discouraged when Supreme Court Justices won’t even take up the case. But I’m not giving up hope Beth! I keep feeling like Trump has an Ace in his sleeve.

Reading the newspaper (which is a conservative one in the UK) and seeing the same narrative about the fake election, I asked God to put my mind straight on this. All the Christian prophecy I had found had predicted Trump would win, and suddenly we're all wrong? God are you silent? Why? What must we now believe? Is America to be abandoned to the locust? and I felt a sense of calm and peace and a word: 'vindication'. I can't say it was strong, and I'm a sinful person, but I did sense the Lord. There's a new expression (to me anyway): 'red pilled', which refers to a scene in the Matrix when someone is offered a blue or a red pill. The blue pill makes you live on as before, the red one shows a completely different perspective. It's as if the West has chosen the blue pill and repeats the narrative given by the MSM, while a few of us see a completely different reality. I've done my share of soul searching about this. Am I going with the conspiracy theorists, the kind of people who deny the moon landings etc? Can it really be true that an election in the greatest democracy on earth was faked, millions lied to? My middle daughter thinks it's impossible for fraud to happen on that scale. My eldest is fully red-pilled. Only the hand of God can now put an end to the smoke and mirrors.

Here in Maryland and DC, the restaurants are closed in many areas to indoor dining, and the churches are severely limited in capacity.
The sad reality remains that the two branches of government, which in their formation were to deal with the obvious fraud that has taken place (Congress and Judiciary), have declined thus far to act. On January 6, a significant number of House Democrats will have to agree to consider the objections raised by at least one Rep and one senator. I'm not sure Pence can order them to debate. If they choose to debate then they'll have to vote. How much control does Nancy Pelosi exert? My prayer is that the Holy Spirit convict them that our whole Constitutional System is at stake! If the fraud is allowed to determine the sitting President, then the crisis will be worse than the Civil War, though not as bloody. You might argue that Patriots will rise up, but if we come to such a point it will depend actually on the military's response, and when the dust settles will our wonderful Republic remain intact? Lord have Mercy!
In a very real sense, this reminds me of the Passion and Crucifixion of Christ. All it would have taken is one person to say, This man is innocent. But it was more convenient to let an innocent man die. The high priests gave up Jesus because they didn't want the Romans stepping in if there was unrest. Pilate had Jesus scourged because it was part of the process to scourge someone then let them go. But when that wasn't enough for the mob, he ordered Jesus crucified. Here, the evidence of fraud is available, but the judges will say, You don't have standing, i.e., you don't have a dog in this fight, you can't show you will be hurt, so you can't present your evidence. I'm still praying a 54-Day Rosary Novena, and I will submit to the Judgement of G_D.
