Although I see where the Brexit side is coming from, I have my doubts about it because it seems to me that the British establishment is even worse than the European one. It seems to me that Britain is the most politically-correctness-contaminated police state this side of the Atlantic. If Brexit goes ahead, and I think Johnson (no Trump) is determined to fudge it, the British people might be jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

I have been following and had great hopes for Brexit from the beginning and what it has decayed into is exactly what the establishment desired from the get go. I and I think many others had hope that it would be a spark which would ignite the people and overcome the rot of the establishment. I have a lot of empathy for the British people and what they endure.
I can't help but wonder since this took place in 2016 initially why it took 4 years to come out to the public. The governments of the US, Canada, AUS, NZ, S America have all been thoroughly infiltrated at this point by them and their "influence".
I am spending a lot of time weeping today! One could say that's very unmanly. But one of the secular heroes whom I try to emulate, imperfect though he was, is Robert E. Lee. Overall, this film did him a disservice as they attempted to probe his unwise choice to order Picket's Charge on the 3rd day of the Battle of Gettysburg. I too remember weeping on the day I took my family to this battlefield and stood on the Little Round Top. Such a pivotal battle. But God's choice was to preserve the Union, and a victory by Lee might have severely damaged the Union's resolve. When Lincoln had proclaimed a day of prayer and fasting in March of 1863, Lee ordered his troops to participate. He was a noble and Christian man. During the hateful and indiscriminate pulling down of statues this year, the pulling down of one of his statues revealed the thoughtlessness of the perpetrators. As the War between the States approached and Virginia was discerning whether to secede, Lee decided to follow the decision of his State homeland and not accept the position of Commander-in Chief that Lincoln offered him. I wonder, does the following post-war statement of his suggest he regretted his original choice? Either way, he was not a compulsive person. The truth is this: The march of Providence is so slow, and our desires so impatient; the work of progress is so immense and our means of aiding it so feeble; the life of humanity is so long, that of the individual so brief, that we often see only the ebb of the advancing wave and are thus discouraged. It is history that teaches us to hope. The current struggle this nation, the Church, and even the world are enduring, has ramifications even more consequential. I've seen sincere persons make compulsive demands, saying the current Supreme Court should follow the reckless example of SCOTUS-with Ginsburg, and ram through a victory for Trump apart from proper jurisprudence (perhaps they fail to understand the meaning of the word?). This would put us in the same camp as the socialist Left. Certain powers within the Vatican now declare that fear of covid-19 warrants the removal of "Holy Communion on the tongue" in the Diocese of Knoxville. Granted, I perceive this as primarily an assault against reverence rather than a safety issue; one more glimpse into a different type of war. But we are called to trust in God and to intercede in such a way that our desires don't resist the dictates of his Will. For the promises He has given through Our Lady (of Fatima and Good Success) are certain and will usher in the Triumph and Era of Peace. In this we need not allow our desires be so impatient, but look to the past in order that history may teach us to hope! 2 Tim 2: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.
Another interesting piece of history, showing G_D's Hand in human history. On March 30, 1863, President Lincoln declared a day of national prayer and fasting, to be observed on April 30. As noted above, Lee ordered his troops to participate. Two days later, on May 2, General Stonewall Jackson and his group were hit by friendly fire while returning from an attack. The guards on duty thought they were Union soldiers trying to sneak in; the men leading Jackson's group didn't know they were so close to their own lines, and so weren't prepared to give the countersign. Jackson was hit twice in an arm, forcing the surgeon to amputate the arm. The amputation site became infected, and the infection traveled to Jackson's lungs. He died of pneumonia on May 10, a Sunday. Jackson was the best of the Confederate generals, better than Lee (who was no slouch). Lee wept by Jackson's bedside as he lay dying, because Lee didn't know how he would carry the war without Jackson. Two months later, in the first week of July, the Union and Confederate armies met at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. If Jackson had been there, he might have been able to keep Lee from ordering Picket's charge. As it was, without Jackson, the Union won the battle. After Gettysburg, it was a long slow descent for the Confederacy, with Lee surrendering to Grant two years after Gettysburg. Both sides prayed and fasted on April 30, and G_D gave the victory to the Union.
Ive been to Gettysburg many times on class trips with our students. I love when we get to the Pickett's Charge description.....they really map it out in your mind....you are there. It's part of a huge bus loop around the battlefield
