We must stick with our constitutional principles. That is why we rejoiced when Barrett was appointed. We wanted a Court that would clarify the law, not propagate law. The Texas brief that is before the Court and signed on by 19 other States is actually a last ditch effort. But I believe their position is flawed. Yes, there is obviously fraud in all four States: GA, MI, PA, and WI. Now, besides the fraud in PA, there is the State constitutional issue that voting procedures were wrongly expanded through the PA's courts rather than the State legislature; that is a clear instance of unconstitutional behavior and, in principle, threatens the country as a whole. Even though voter fraud is evident in the other three states, supposedly recounts have been done which still show Biden winning those States. However, there is no clear constitutional issue in those States. Texas chose to include those States in the brief because the electoral vote total of all four States would be enough to swing the election to Trump if the Supreme Court voted in their favor. In other words, they mixed political reasons with constitutional reasons. Can we blame them? Here’s the rub, if it was an activist court to which this brief was submitted, and they liked the outcome the brief was supporting, then yes, Trump would probably win. But SCOTUS is now weighted in favor of those who are not activists, but originalists. Even if the Court voted in favor of the brief, I think it will only be partial. At best, they will instruct the PA legislature to decide on electors, but probably leave things as they now stand in GA, MI, and WI. Our Constitutional principles will be upheld, but a Biden victory would result. Close, but not quite! P.S. You'll all be in my prayers at Adoration tonight! Lord have Mercy!
I agree Mario. I am beginning to suspect that much of this is a distraction because it just has not risen to the level of irrefutable systemic abuse or conspiracy IMO. Maybe we don't have the whole picture. Obviously there has been fraud and even conspiracy but not on a scale that I think a judge will deem justifies overturning or stopping certifications. The issue of the states constitutions being subverted is the best shot they have and will probably win but will it be enough. I doubt it as well.

If he does convert, then he still won't be able to rec'v the Eucharist until he's had his previous marriages annulled (which won't be easy, politics being what they are), then he has to have his marriage to Melania regularized. Just need to vent a little. I was looking up the phone number for my city's trash department, because I watched them skip my trash (but that's for another rant) and I saw a link to CNN's coverage of the Texas SCOTUS case. I clicked on it. OY! I don't know what I was expecting. When I had cable tv 5-6 years ago, I had CNN on when I wasn't watching something else just to keep up with the world. Even knowing how far American news has fallen, I was shocked at what I read. The first three-quarters of the story was about how baseless the suit is, how Pennsylvania called the suit "seditious", and a long statement from a Texas Representative about how he didn't think it was right for the great State of Texas to tell other states how to run their elections. The rest of the story stated only that this was an attempt by the Trump administration to get millions of votes thrown out. Nothing about the merits of the case or about electoral votes being diluted .
Yep, that's the tactic I am seeing as well. Now people on social media are calling people traitors to the nation and democracy for supporting it. A counter suit has been filed as well on behalf of about 20 states of which mine is included against the TX suit. It's splitting the country in two.
It was really funny when the Texas scotus news came out and people on social media didn’t know what to think or do since they heard about it from Breitbart but nowhere else was covering it. I was hoping that would have been more of a wake up call to those trusting the msm.
Their malpractice just gets more egregious. I do believe if it was a nothing burger they wouldn't be so frantic to down play it and spin it like a top.
