It seems unlikely that the legislatures would ignore the votes cast in thier state to determine the electors BUT it would be Constitutional for them to do so. Imagine if indisputable evidence surfaced before Dec 12 showing a candidate was being bribed or blackmailed by a foreign country for example. Or that the vote count was fraudulent....That might prompt the State legislatures to legally chose electors that do not reflect the votes cast.
Compare the tentative vote results in my next post (Main Streem media Nov 2020 vote count) and number of electors for each state with the map of legislatures party affiliation above.... If I am not mistaken, enough electors from Republican controlled legislatures would be enough for a Republican win. TRUMP gains Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina

The legal expert in this interview says that it may be too late to disallow the votes received after the polls closed if those ballot papers were not kept separate from all the legal ballot papers.
Did they say how likely this is to happen? Thus would mean the public votes are disregarded just wondering if talked about what they need to see for this to take place.
But I think he is saying that they won't be able to do it manually because there will be no way to distinguish the late ballots from the legal ones.
Valid ballots have been given identifiers before printing i believe. An infrared scan of each ballot will authenticate it so I've heard. But who knows.
