It is LaSallette. And Our Lady used the rotten potato crop the year before as an example of God's anger.
I have persimmon trees spreading like wildfire throughout my land. I guess in the end, I could survive on persimmons. I've got apples, plums, mulberries, raspberries, muscadines, figs, and watermelon, cantaloupe, pumpkins and okra right now too, though not all the trees are producing yet. But if nothing will give good fruit in the end, well... I guess it doesn't matter. God will provide what He wishes to provide. Once early on in Covid, when the shelves were going bare in the grocery stores and stocking food pantries for emergencies was on everyone's minds, I was watching a Bible cartoon with my kids about Joshua and the battle of Jericho. My mind wandered a bit and I prayed to God, "I don't have much money and can't stock much food...and I don't have my own source of water (at the time, I still lived in the suburbs). If we ever really need these things, when things go badly in the world, will you work miracles for us?" And right then I glanced down at my baby sitting in my lap, and the rattle toy he was holding in his hands said, in big black letters, "Miracle" To this day, no one in my family has any idea who wrote that on the toy. Since then, I am not afraid of scarcity in the end times or during chastisements. God can and will work miracles if we ask, I believe.
