I just watched the live press conference at 1:30 a.m. on tv with Governor Walz, Mpls mayor J. Frey, and couple of more other speakers. They're talking about telling them people to get off the streets and go home. It's hard to watch more of this looting, setting fires and etc. Definately, the police, state troopers, National Guard are like exhausted and outnumbered. Looks like they're planning to send in 1,700 more of National Guard and the Pentagon has the military police on standby and being ready to go if called. On another note... Back on March 10th, 2020... Mpls mayor Jacob Frey announced the day of March 10th to be declared as a "Abortion Provider Appreciation Day"!! When I heard about this; I thought to myself Okay, Mr. Frey, you just have really offended and angered our Almighty God and Creator by doing that. Ever since from on that day of what Frey did; I felt that there is gonna be a looming mini tribulation/chaos coming soon from the city of Minneapolis. Shame on him. And now this happens. Ironically, mayor Frey also bragged on media with his now pregnant wife with showing off the ultrasound pic of their first child. Really, he's just one confused, misguided man (soon-to-be-father) who just doesn't get that abortion is wrong and evil and murder!? It is kinda eerie that this is somewhat similar to just like what NYC Governor Andrew Cuomo did when he signed the bill for late term (or was it full term?) abortion and lit up the pink neon sign of the PP's pink ribbon on one of their NYC tall buildings. Woke this morning to the air filled with smoke. A great plume of smoke over Minneapolis on the horizon. I drove up to downtown St Paul where there are early Confessions. All was still in downtown St Paul. Perhaps our ArchBishop (of Minneapolis/St Paul) standing up to the governor and saying Churches will open dispite the governor's order contributed to our community being targeted. When suffering happens it is sometimes because of our unity with Christ on the cross rather than a punishment for sin. Either way we had a conflict of the Godless culture of death vs the Church just before this tragedy unfolded. We are first and foremost spiritual warriors more than political opponents. I think many are distracted by the social upheaval and are forgetting the spiritual . This is evedenced by myself being the only one at Confession this morning. Usually there is a line of 25 for Saturday morning Confession at this church. Are we looking within to see our own sinfulness or are we only looking at the sins of other leaders. God wants His children to wake up.
What I also find interesting is, I know of four prophets that lived and spoke in the Twin Cites of Minneapolis and St. Paul 10 years ago. Jennifer, Little Mary, Verne Dagenais and Cletus Scheffers. I realize that few in those areas have ever heard of them, but nonetheless, God sent his prophets to these cities and they spoke to whomever had ears to hear. Yes, there is good people in these cities, but there is much evil as well. Minneapolis is within the top three largest gay populated cities in America. Some say it is #1 now.
